The Menudo was ok in a pinch. My favorite place had run out so I decided to try this place. A little watery and salty for my taste and the«large» bowl is a little small for the price. I like that they add hominy corn which is the way I grew up eating it. I thought it could have used some oregano too but I know spices are subjective.

This is as authentic as it gets! The food and atmosphere is great! They have great and friendly customer service. You will feel like you are eating at your mom’s house. I can’t recommend just one thing, everything taste amazing. That is my struggle when I go in I can’t decide weather to have tacos, torta, sopes, or their daily special.

This place is delicious! The service is fantastic. The food is phenomenal. We had cactus & egg, potato & egg and chorizo at our table; all amazing. The horchata is the best I’ve had anywhere! I will most definitely be back!

Let me start out by saying the customer service is phenomenal. Me and my gf came here and tried the consome and pozole, which was pretty good, but wasn’t brought out until I asked about it since I noticed 3 other tables after us get their food. It happened to be that another table got our food. I was upset about this at first, but the gentleman, maybe owner still not sure, offered a couple tacos to make up for it. I feel like he went over what he was supposed to since I usually never ask for a refund or anything of that sort I appreciate that he took it upon himself to make it right. The tacos are bomb by the way

I enjoyed their food a lot so I called to ask about prices in large orders for catering and the person on the phone was extremely rude and pretty much refused to provide me information. Customer service is key to me so I’ve not been back since. Id like to also add that it wasn’t a language barrier situation since I do speak Spanish.

People are nice but they don’t have the typical Mexican food, like queso, hot sauce or any alcohol. Don’t go here if you want to enjoy a nice sit down Mexican meal.

The food is really good here! The lengua tacos are very good despite the fact that they are tongue! Don’t be shy! Try something new! The price is cheap enough for you to try something different and if you don’t like it, it’s not like you’ll be out an excessive amount of money. The verde sauce is awesome! Also recommend the chorizo plate with rice and beans. Good place for cheap street tacos

LISTENUPWHITEPEOPLE. DONOTBEAFRAID I found this place when the original best option for breakfast one exit away is now closed for good. I found this by accident while looking for something to eat other then BS options at major intersection with this place 100 yards from exit. As a very well versed texas traveller who ranks mexican food as only a tie for my favorite cuisine next to BBQ I am never scared of any mexican joint, with«hole in the wall» type place’s amongst my absolute favorites. So I wander in, and aside from no one following directions except me on how the owners try to direct incoming traffic into a cafeteria style line to the left. I order chilaquiles and immediate get slightly nervous when they ask if I want eggs or chicken with my meal, I double check with my brain and confirm eggs. I take my seat and begin to watch a family go about caring for their business and customers unlike many these days. I assume all these folks are family as they seemed to genuinely treat each other nicely when giving directions or orders. Now my food comes and I get worried as I never had chilaquiles with the eggs not mixed and the chips colored blood red in sauce. Fast forward till my plate is spotless and I know the guilt is setting in for eating like a horse. I was craving the taste by lunch time again. For an authentic mom and pop restaurant, this place kicks ass, and I cant wait to be in the area to give them my business again.

The food was beyond authentic and their salsa had fantastic flavoring! Their quesadillas(one larger tortilla) and street tacos were very delicious, but it is a little pricier than expected. But all in all, really good!

Having had some experience in Mexican flare, I must say this was a good find. Authentic, and they made my cut for what true Mexican restaurants must include. HOMEMADETORTILLAS! I had breakfast. It was perfectly prepared and I left nothing to waste.

Came here for the first time today and had their breakfast tacos. It was so good, went back for lunch. We had the beef fajitas, asada tacos, sopes, and gorditas. They were all delicious. Its our new fav Mexican place. We’re from Southern CA so its hard for us to find great asada tacos here in TX.

Great service — fresh food! Best lengua tacos & menudo — not greasy — lots of flavor. Prices are good. would be nice if they added mexican baked goods.

This is the best taco place we have found in DFW. My husband is from San Antonio and has a high bar set for tacos. Everything is made on site and is fresh and delicious. I would recommend the chicken torta and the lengua tacos. The staff is very friendly. The only«bad» thing I can think of about this place is that they open at 8:00 am. That’s too late most mornings for me to stop and get their yummy breakfast tacos.

Not bad. Had the pollo, carnitas, pastor and asada tacos. Decent flavor, not too greasy. A little over priced. Salsa is a nice touch. Not my favorite, but not lacking flavor either. Clean place.

It’s not often I get impressed with homestyle Mexican food, especially with street tacos. I grew up in Southern CA and here in Texas so it takes a lot to get my attention. I have never heard of this place until today. Our company catered an appreciation lunch for us and selected La Conchita to provide the food. Normally, lunches like these are hit or miss. I can say today was a hit. I had 3 tacos with rice, beans and guacamole. I picked a chicken fajita, beef fajita and barbacoa. The chicken was cooked perfectly, nicely charred and full of flavor. The beef fajita was the same. Nice balance of spices & perfectly cooked. The barbacoa was SO tender and full of flavor. All in all, it reminded me of being out in Mexico and hitting up the street stands. Add a spicy salsa along with the standard onions and cilantro and that would make a complete meal. The beans were refried with a tinge of chorizo and a nice amount of heat. The rice was executed properly and complimented the beans perfectly. The guacamole had all the essentials and a good amount of heat, perfect on your taco or with tortilla chips. Wish they would have some horchata to drink because that would have made this meal perfect. I plan on going to the actual location very soon to try the rest of their menu. Too bad I live in Garland and this place is out in the Mid-Cities. Guess I’lljust have to make a pit stop after work from Irving. Definitely recommended.

I wasnt impressed and thought it was rather expensive for street tacos. I got six beef tacos and a flan to go. They gave me three limes. I needed three more. They also gave me one of each sauces. I needed one more of each. It was my first time in so I didnt know what to expect. The tacos were just okay to eat, nothing special. The flan was not good. Mexican flan is thicker than Vietnamese/French flan but these were rather hard… I threw it away after half. I pushed myself to eat it. I was rather excited to find this time but looks like I have to keep searching for street tacos nearby where I live. This is not worth it.

Wow… Walked into this place the other day and didn’t expect to walk into an authentic taqueria in NRH. I thought they only existed in Ft Worth or Irving. It felt like home right away. I was thrilled that they had sopes on the menu and ordered two with asada and my husband got carnita tacos. I think after drinks(bottles or cans only — sorry) our total came up to maybe $ 11. They have complimentary chips and salsa at the counter and when you get your meal you have your choice or red or green sauce as well. As with any legit taqueria, they have telemundo and soccer playing on the tv screens to watch while you eat. The sopes were alright — I honestly should have gotten a different meat because my beef was a little more on the drier side and there was a good bit of fat left in there that I hate but otherwise it was good. I think id try their pollo or carnitas next time. They serve menudo on the weekends and from what I was noticing from other people dining there, that was definitely the thing to get(too bad I dont like tripas) They also have an in-house panderia that I didnt get a chance to try this time around since I’m not supposed to have alot of sweets right now but next time i’ll definitely grab a concha. PS — They do take card, however there may be a dollar limit but i’m not sure.
