SweetFrog

My dentist probably hates that I go here.
They have a good selection of flavors, but sometimes they lean a little too heavily on the super rich peanut butter nut buster caramel EXPLOSSIIOONN type flavors versus just normal fruit flavors.
The toppings are always well stocked, so I never have to make awkward (yet urgent) eye contact with the cashier because I need mango poppers RIGHT NOW.
They also don’t judge me when my cup is like $ 10 worth of toppings, so I appreciate it.

Loved the 5-​star yogurt. The 2 or 3-​star Bored-​out-​of-​her-​gourd less than helpful cashier on her phone left me cold. Not a word above a whisper while checking us out. And this the scenario at the beginning of our visit: Enter to silence. Cashier on her cell, too busy to greet customers. OK, we know what to do, right? …
I was with three visitors from Belize, one of whom is disabled and waited in the car. The others are a nice older woman and her young adult niece, dressed for a nice Sunday after-​church treat. They wanted some FroYo, because the kind they had in the airport was SOOO good… So we go a couple miles out of the way to find a good yogurt place. The two go in first, choose cups to start their self-​service. They figured out that much. I come in and see they don’t know what to choose or how exactly to work the machines. I notice there is indeed an employee behind the counter. (She had not made her presence known.)
I ask: «May I have some sample cups?» (Notice the «s» and the three people in the room, some of whom are obviously new to the experience?)
Cashier hands me one little cup.
«There are three of us, may we have several each?»
Cashier hands me two more little cups with a look. What kind of look… defiant? Hostile? Apologetic? Scared we’re going to steal yogurt with the little sample cups? …NOPE. Just bored. Then not a word above a whisper the entire time they were loading up their cups and checking out. Barely an acknowledgement that we were there.
Please. If you want to work, work. Put the phone down and be friendly when you have a customer. Learn some basic customer service!

Stopped here for a afternoon treat. The selection of yogurt flavors was wonderful! I choose the original tart and then headed to the «toppings» bar. There has so many to choose from! There was fresh fruit, candy, cookies, etc. Make sure you pay attention to how much your cup weighs you pay by weight. I really enjoyed my visit and was very excited to see they are building a SweetFrog closer to my home!

We come to Sweet Frog every couple of months or so, more often in the summer.
I like:
The décor is adorable. Who does’t like lovey froggies?
The seating is cute and well designed.
The fro yo is delish, even the sugar free is totally edible.
The toppings are perfect and plentiful.
I can buy a t shirt. Awesome.
However:
The teenager behind the counter always looks like he wants to sink into the floor.
I wish the cups were offered in a kid friendly size. No kid is willing to fill a cup up only halfway to save calories, believe me.
I like how Orange Leaf offers dividers for the cups, I wish Sweet Frog did too.
Still a fan tho. Love me some fro-​yo in a froggie cup.

Watch out, you can over do it easily. Filling up the cup is so easy, then you add a lot of toppings and wham! You are headed for a sugar sweet smacking good time. They have a good variety of yogurts and ice cream with an ample selection of toppings. We really enjoyed the visit.

This is my favorite of the fro yo places near me. It’s clean, bright, friendly. I really like the tart and cake batter flavors. I feel like the price is as good or better than the other places nearby.

Love bringing the Bunny here. My favorite flavor is Taro Root and I was sad it wasn’t there when I brought her. They have a bunch of cute Sweet Frog merchandise too. Very family friendly. This place is crawling with teens on dates and young kids. Bunny threw a tantrum when the yogurt we shared ran out.
They’d do great if they had drinking water available and some cups!

The new flavor strawberry lemonade was tasty. Just the right combo of tart and sweet. I get all fruit toppings today, I got strawberries, kiwi, and blueberries. They were incredibly sweet and fresh.

Closed at 9:40 when the hours stated they closed at 10. Guy had headphones on ignoring us when we went to the door

I love this place!!!
It’s always clean, well stocked, yummy, customer service is great, and I loooove their app. One or my favorites for sure. I stop every time I’m in NRH or Flower Mound.

Best yogurt in town. The raspberry pomegranate is so amazing! Cake batter is really good as well. They have dairy free choices as well. So many different toppings to choose from. Very clean and very family friendly environment. In door and outdoor seating as well.

Great experience had a lot of fun making our deserts with the whole family! Just know you $$pay$$ for what you get family of 4 spent $ 30 easy.

I like that they have different sizes of cups. If I get a large one, I’m much more likely to put more than I can eat it in it. This, plus the fact that they have Captain Crunch as a topping, puts them way ahead of Yogurtville for me.

I’m updating my review to 5 stars as I’ve been here a lot since my last review since my fiancé adores this place.
It’s changed, and the fruit is a lot better. I still don’t like a lot of the yogurts offered (and they don’t really change it up), but the cake batter taste better now.
The chocolate was horrendous, couldn’t take more than 2 bites.
Strawberry Lemonade was really good, my fiancé loves the Original Tart.
Cookies and Cream was great, and original vanilla was vanilla-​y.
Peppermint tasted like toothpaste, but was good mixed up with the cake batter.
But I’m not going to take off a star for my picky judgment… as my fiancé loves everything.
As I said, the fruit are a lot better, more fresh and they are now staying stocked most of the time.
They have a lot of options now because of that.
Overall, now I find myself saying, «lets go get froyo» all the time now. Thanks Sweet Frog.

Like other Unilocalers have pointed out, the place is very clean and bright. A nice place for anyone to hang out and get fro-​yo. I like Sweet Frog’s layout better than the other frozen yogurt and bubble tea shop sharing the same parking lot.
Sweet Frog is an overtly Christian business but nothing too distracting or overwhelming.
The flavors are on par with Cassie’s in Grapevine but Sweet Frog has more toppings.
For North Richland Hills, this place is the best.

I stopped by to get my usual fix of frozen yogurt. First time having sweet frog. I got the same amount of yogurt and same amount of toppings but mine came out to be only .75 here!!! WHAT? thats cheap!!! it would have cost about $ 3 everywhere else. They have mango flavor thats really refreshing. I opted out for chocolate but I took a scoop of the mango from the bf’s bowl hehehe.

I am very conflicted about Sweet Frog.
The good
A) The frog décor is super cute, there was a little frog cowgirl and a little frog sheriff on the door. Aww.
B) They had red velvet and taro, two of my favorite flavors (our usual place stopped carrying red velvet and never had taro)
C) Excellent toppings selections for my needs– waffle cone crumbles, toasted coconut, yes please! (My husband who goes more for the fruit said he wasn’t impressed with that side of the equation)
The bad
A) Now, this is only bad depending on your religious leanings but this place is very Christian. Like bible verses printed on the cups, «Frog» actually means «fully rely on God» and Christian pop on the radio. I’m a non-​religious person and have a bit of a knee jerk negative reaction to my yogurt trying to tell me the good news but if they’re «golden rule love thy neighbor» Christian I’d have no problem giving them my business. But they could be the «don’t believe in birth control and hate gay people» kind which worries me. Upon Googling, I couldn’t find any concrete evidence to back either option other than an Op Ed from a gay interest website out of Richmond, VA (Sweet Frog’s home base) saying Sweet Frog hasn’t spoken openly a la Chik-​fil-​a on the subject so we should give them the benefit of the doubt and also they played Lady Gaga’s Born This Way when he visited. So… case closed?
B) The boy who was working the counter stood with his back against the wall staring into space the whole time. It was a little freaky.

The yogurt was delish! I enjoy both the Taro and sugar free vanilla. Toppings are the usual. The place was very clean and brightly colored. They offer a rewards card and the price is much cheaper than most froyo spots… somewhere around .35 an ounce. Perfect for us broke college students! Not as good as Red Mango but, this comes pretty close.

Like Yogurt Planet at the Domain in Austin, well I’m sure they have locations other than Austin, but anyway. They have the poppers. No not drugs, well kinda, but no… not drugs. Mango, Orange, Strawberry and Passion fruit flavored poppers. They are like little balls that burst when you bite into them filled with juice. Omagosh they are addictive. Sometimes I just would like to fill my yogurt cup with them instead of the yogurt, might have to just do that sometime, but I like the yogurt too. Its super yummy. I did like the mixture of the peanut butter, chocolate, and strawberry, its like a pb & j froyo sammy. =)
This past time I did something a little more… well… I got the strawberry, chocolate and coconut yogurt. eh… I’ll stick with the original combo. I’ll be a regular someday. When I get my finances under control. Their t-​shirts and hoodies are cute too.

Well we have a new yogurt p;ace … this place is very nice and the prices are good. I want to say it was cheeper than the other places we’ve gone but that is all based on size of cups and such and I want to say they have 3 – 4 sized cups so if you get their smaller one it’s cheeper than whatever ounces extra the other places end up factoring in. They have great topping choices, everything is clean, and they have very cute merch! Plus they have a rewards program that with one visit and doing stuff online we got 5 points already … we’re saving up for a shirt! :-)
