Gorgeous beach! And so easy! Coming from VA Beach, it was so nice to be able to park without a hassle. I was told there were facilities but I didn’t see any. Love the super laid back vibe and it’s not overloaded with tourists. I’ve been here twice and the surf seemed a bit high both times so if you have little ones definitely keep an eye on them.

I mean it’s the beach, c’mon! Parking is very limited here, but since Topsail is more relaxed and not super touristy it never seemed to be a problem. A lot of the locals have their golf carts so I think that helps. There is some sort a small machine work site right next to the dirt lot. One of the workers decided he was going to work for about 30mins, forget his manners, and stalk my friends and I. So watch out for that but all in a nice little spot for a day been trip. Be sure to bring your own supplies: food, water, etc. There is a little restaurant across the street but it is limited. Happy relaxin’ y’all!

Very nice and quite beach not too crowded like the one in Wilmington. The access to the beach is a wood stairs rail and its very easy to access to the beach. I havent seen the place to rinse off yet or the nearby bathroom other than in the fast food places. The beach is clean and good for surfing.

Clean beach in Surf City, NC. I’d be back there today if I didn’t live in Iowa!

Tourisms description — Located on SR1568, about 1 mile from NC210. Features an elevated wooden observation deck on the ocean, restrooms, showers, concession area, and parking for 150 vehicles. My description — Sturdy wood stairs and hand rail lead to the top of the Sand Dune and then down to the beach. There is a convenient place to rinse all the sand off you after leaving the sandy shores. Wonderful site to enjoy a day in the sun at a clean beach. Appropriate for children of all ages 0 — 100.
