Pete’s stand is a great local vegetable stand owned by a great family near Ames Plaza off Route 12. They have a great selection and pre-​season certificate deal to help cover expenses that is a great deal for the customer. Their Facebook page usually posts their most recent goodies and is a good follow. They have re-​purposed plastic grocery bags for your haul which they take donations for but it never hurts to bring your own! You just can’t beat fresh local produce. Check it out!

Open from June to to October, Pete’s is your one stop shop for all sorts of basic and exotic fruits and veggies, as well as local baked goods, jams, and syrup.
My family has been buying, eating, and loving Pete’s for years. The corn is the freshest. The peaches are the juiciest. And the friendly service is the best. Just can’t beat a family-​run business.
Big parking lot — right off Rt. 12 — can’t miss it. Outside, but covered. Best of both worlds.
Just wait until the pumpkins come in!!!
