2ND Time Around

Cute store with great flow. I was greeted by a lady who may have been the manager or owner. Wasn’t a very warm or approachable person but she was very professional. Browsed around and their prices are exorbitant. $ 45 for a top that other consignment stores carry fro $ 10-​$ 20.
They have a nice selection, but they don’t carry much of anything in the size ¹²⁄₁₄ range and certainly cannot be bothered with larger sizes.
If you have money to burn and are a smaller size, you might find something here. But overall, the prices drove me out the door.

My experience was about a year ago to be clear, but my prior review seems to have been wiped. I tried to bring in some designer clothes to consign. I called and was told they were busy but they could accommodate me and to come in. So paid for parking and hauled my bags into the place. I waited at the counter for a long time before being acknowledged at all and was then told to wait some more after they grabbed my bags, put them beside the counter and went about ignoring them. I spent the next hour looking around the store and alternately waiting in a chair by the entrance. The store was slow and staff were mostly playing and joking, but were still not evaluating my items. I was even approached by one asking if I had been helped. I pointed to my bags and said I was waiting for my items to be reviewed. She said ok and continued about her business joking and playing with other staff. The store is not huge so you’d think someone being there over an hour obviously waiting would spark some kind of action. But I agree with other reviewers I found them snobbish and quite possibly they judged me and decided whatever was in my bags was not worth it. I am larger sized although what I brought was brand new with tags designer stuff (Marc Jacobs, Mara Hoffman, Prada, Catherine Malandrino etc. in sizes 6 to10) I could not fit into ergo the reason for wanting to consign. Oh well their loss! After waiting about an hour and a half I grabbed my bags back and left. Given the other reviews of them «losing» items think I may have dodged a bullet.

I used to love this place and the clothes selection is getting better and better, but the ladies who work there are not particularly friendly. Second time I’ve been there in a month and wasn’t treated very nicely.

Nice little shop, if you are from out of town and fly in Spirit Airways, well you’ll need to find a second hand clothing store because you have to travel very very light. Limited but serviceable selection of men’s clothing saved me because it was unseasonably warm. Prices reasonable for used designer clothing, fairly good distribution of sizes, the sales help much nicer than the other used clothing stores we visited where there was a bit of attitude.

I like this place. They have a well-​curated selection, nice quality standards, reasonable prices, and a good variety of sizes (although their footwear sizes tend to be either tiny or gigantic). The store layout is clean and attractive and their floor/​window displays have a nice sense of style. I consign with them a lot and love the deals I can score without too much effort.
I’ve generally found the staff to be helpful and friendly (although it would be nice if they played music other than Sinatra and ‘90s pop). However, I’m not someone who needs to be greeted and constantly asked if I need help, so take that for what it’s worth. There is one rather serious older woman (owner? manager?) who isn’t exactly the warmest person on earth, and I could see people finding her a bit off-​putting, but again your mileage may vary.
I’ve found them to be a bit pickier about what they accept than the similar Urban Exchange up the road. They also require an appointment to consign, and if you’re dropping off anything that isn’t accepted will be immediately donated to charity.

I went into this ship today because a friend had mentioned going to a store by this name before I came here and upon entering it seems to me like a small consignments shop where you can bring in your gently used clothes and shoes and jewelery to resell. What I noticed that set this store apart from all the Plato’s closets and the buffalo exchanges that I’ve been to this one doesn’t seem to have a set style. I saw lacoste polos and Ann Taylor shirts all on the same rack along with what I’m assuming were local artists who had their clothes on display for sale. I really like this place because from what I looked at the clothes were in good shape to be worth the price the store was selling them for. Ooo also to mention that they have sales which looked like they changed on a daily or weekly basis. Today certain tags were on sale for 20 percent off of certain marked items.
