I was really excited to go, but the customer service wasn’t that great and hindered my experience. Our waitress was rude. But, I did enjoy the food and drinks. The mango sangria is amazing. I had the octopus over the potato foam, and I could eat it all day long. I really liked how multiple people brought out our dishes and they were all brought out sporadically because the point is for all of us to share dishes. The food and most of the service was good. Our specific waitress was not. I don’t crave to go there again.

Fantastic time, excellent service, great food, very well presented. Had the nevat goat cheese, the chicken & chorizo, the squid in its own ink(it’s spicy), and a sangria between us. Would definitely go there again.

The food was absolutely delicious, but there seems to be some pretty bad communication problems in the kitchen. We ordered 3 tapas. Two came out one after another as we finished each dish. The last fish, raw tuna, we waited for 30 mins AFTER the last dish was served(and about an hour after we put the order in). At that point they didn’t know how much longer it was going to take so we asked to cancel it and just get the check. As I was about to sign the check, they delivered the tuna. What in the world is going on in that kitchen and with the communication with the kitchen.

What an awesome place!!! After my group of 12 was«evicted» by another nearby restaurant, we walked in and were immediately seated — on a Saturday night, no less!!! Everyone in my group raved about the food, the ambience, and the service. We all ordered various dishes and drinks off the menu. Everything was YUMMY!!! This IS the place to go to for food and drinks!!! Totally worth your time and money! :-)

Athough I understand the concept of this establishment it is lost on me by usage of the eclectic westernized décor. Although nice it missed the mark. The tapas… tasty but small. Your server will tell you tapas are to share with others, but believe me there is not enough. Four cubes of steak on four slices of toast is not sharable. I suggest buying a portion(not tapas) of paella if you are hungry but beware. The menu says you can’t order paella unless you are ordering for two people and the cost is $ 15 for one plate. When your check arrives, you will find that they have charged you for TWOPEOPLE as if you have ordered two separate entrees. The total cost for one PLATE of paella is $ 30. Deceptive to say the least. Also, the shell fish was not cleaned properly. I could still taste the sand. Our waitress was inattentive and had to be waved over several times during the meal. While our server was lost to waiting on too many tables, there were other servers standing around with nothing to do. When I tried to ask one of them a question, I was cut off and told he was not my server. He walked away and never relayed to my actual server that we needed her. Glad I used a Groupon because it was not worth the full price. The last nail in the coffin was waiting 20 min for the check. Don’t worry. She still received a tip, but just 15%. While I do enjoy seeing managers/owners of businesses on staff, I did not enjoy this one. He paced the restaurant, staring at every person with a look of doom and gloom on his face. I don’t know what was on his mind, but I felt like a kid waiting to be reprimanded by a parent.

Super-inconsistent, regarding both the food and the waitstaff, but with the occasional absolute gem in the mix.

Went for brunch menu after being here for 3 dinners prior. All dinners were delicious. Specifically reviewing new brunch menu. Brunch specific items limited but we’re amazing. We had pork and veal sliders and pulled lamb sub. Both were served on fresh delicious bread, hot and meat spiced perfectly. Both also came with fried potatoes with a flavored crema and maybe a paprika based sauce. By far, my favorite part of the meal was dessert. .. The homemade CHURROS that melt in your mouth with a cup of thick hot chocolate. They are ONLY on the brunch menu and I pleaded with the owner to put them on the regular menu! They’re THATGOOD! They are definitely a culinary experience you should have there!

Went there with a groupon, was extremely loud and very little privacy. Food was ok, wasn’t overly surprised. The service was the only issue, one waiter, and he seemed like he didn’t want to be there. Kind of rude. The only time I’ll go there is with a groupon. Overpriced

My first foray to a tapas bar in Massachusetts outside metro Boston. Wow! Everything from the chick peas served while perusing the menu through the final flan: we were totally pleased. Try the tuna, the mussels, crab coquettes. It was delicious, honest, fresh, creative food served up right We sat at the bar — very friendly extra-competent bartender. We really just liked the whole relaxed, friendly(non-New Yorky pretentious) Northampton vibe to the place. Juan, the owner/manager is there and attentive to customers needs without being overbearing. Will definitely go back.

This was AMAZING. We had a groupon and had been meaning to check it out but would and are totally going back. We are from Philly where the food choices are amazing and so is the good, since we’ve moved up here we’ve found a few restaurants that were good./ but not amazing. This restaurant was just that. We ordered 5 tapas for 2 people which was more than enough food. They included, veal meatballs, chicken and chorizo, egg omelet and chorizo, a pork dish and our last one was this perfect pulled Lamb overtop of a chickpea mash and it was to die for. The wine? Perfect. They have a great wine list and also Sangria which was right on point. We can’t stop talking about this place and would absolutely go again.

We had a groupon(and am glad we did because it was somewhat pricey). That said, I absolutely loved the steak tapas and the roasted vegetables tapas. I would probably return, but more for an appetizer, rather than a full meal(if you consider 2 tapas a full meal). The music was great and the waiter was nice and attentive. Overall, I enjoyed the experience.

Very very very disappointing! I have been to similar exquisite restaurants in Portugal, The part of Portugal that I want to Borders Spain so the restaurants in that area are very similar. Here are some of my disappointments about this restaurant. 1) Almost everything on the menu was extremely overpriced. 2) The Seafood paella was not what I expected it lacked strong flavor that I was anticipating it was also loaded with to much butter… very disappointing. 3) The octopus in a foam type potato is definitely a scam… on the menu it sounds very appealing, on the menu it says you get octopus and some type of potato foam. So they call it, but what you really get his two little small pieces of octopus on skewers in a martini glass filled with some mashed potato with some type of mustard coloring, I am a big eater I have a very big appetite for a small person however just two little pieces of octopus on skewers that’s outlandishly priced??? Extremely disappointing. 4) now however the squid in its own ink, I have to say that’s not too bad however there is a certain level of taste with this dish that makes you feel as though it’s kind of or maybe from a can but it is at the same time still really good but not sure if it’s from a can, it’s really hard to say I give this dish a 50 – 50 meaning I don’t know if it’s authentic then again it might be authentic and not from a can or a bag but the jury will remain out on this one. My overall opinion is I give this restaurant one star due to lack of taste in food and they’re extremely high prices the staff is very friendly and willing to assist you on choosing an entrée. Place itself is not as fancy as you would think it would be and being a Saturday night you would think that the place would be packed especially the bar which no one was sitting up after seeing the prices on the menu and experiencing the food it became clear to me as well.

If this restaurant were more moderately priced, I would give them a much higher rating. It wasn’t terrible, but it was very inconsistent. For the prices, I count on an overall great experience and this one had ups and downs. I really like tapas and I liked the atmosphere and attitude of Ibiza(music, lighting, etc.). The service was good. It was the food that fell short in places, I’m sorry to say. On the plus side, the marinated tuna was excellent as was the grilled pork loin. Both had delicious, complex flavors and the dishes were beautiful. On the downside, the roasted vegetables were very pretty(stacked in a column with several sauces) but turned out to be an overcooked pile of mush. The pork ribs were too fatty for us(and that may just be our preference) but the sauces and potatoes with them were excellent. The chocolate mousse is not well described as it seems to have additional flavors not noted on the menu(orange and coconut?). If the food had been good all around, it would be a great place to take a group to order and share a bunch of plates. It had several highlights but I prefer to spend the same(or more) and get a series of fantastic dishes or spend less and get less interesting, complex dishes.

After trying Ibiza Tapas Wine Bar at 7 Strong Avenue in Northampton, Massachusetts, on a Groupon, we were totally sold – in love with this place. Owner Juan’s mission is to share the hospitality, culture, music, and gastronomy of Spain with his patrons, and he succeeds in flying, rich red and orange colors, smiles, flamenco music, and some of the best tapas we have ever experienced. If you go, start with, well, anything! There isn’t a disappointing tapas in the very lovely menu of traditional and modern tapas. We love the octopus in potato foam, the fresh anchovies on toast, the amazing goat cheese with figs, walnuts, truffle oil with a side of arugula, and the vegetable dishes, and on the entrée side of the menu, the salt crusted sea bass with potatoes, pine nuts, garlic raisins, and carrot comfit, all with smoked paprika oil. Juan says, his mother tried this the first day of her visit and ordered it every day after that. We can see why. The melding of sweet and savory with the perfectly prepared fish is memorable. We did stray on one visit and had the paella, and it was fine, but we missed the tapas variety, so probably will stick to tapas. Desserts are unique and amazing too – Catalan, crème brûlée, bread pudding, drunken apple pastry – are all so worth eating, and if you are very, very generous, sharing. Juan is the perfect host, and is always there, greeting his guests and assuring that every single order is exactly right. Sometimes he’s in the kitchen, but he will always wander out to say hi. This is the place you take your honored guests and visitors to New England to, and this is the place that inspires to you visit Spain – which we are now planning to do.

This place is awesome, one of my top 3 favorite places to get dinner in the Pioneer Valley. Go here with one to three other people and share lots of little, delightful plates of tapas. Everything is honestly great, high quality ingredients and authentic Spanish recipes. My favorites are the Nevat cheese and the Serrano ham on bread with tomato. They also have, hands-down, the best sangria in the Valley. Get the classic red wine sangria and you will NOT be disappointed! Splitting a pitcher(each person gets a good 2.5−3 glasses) for two is great for a girls’ night out or a date.

Oh man, this was really underwhelming. I don’t mean to get all«New York» on you or anything, but maybe this is the best Northampton can do in terms of tapas. My disclaimer is that while we don’t proclaim to be experts on Spanish tapas, we have had enough awesome tapas restaurants(in NYC and abroad) to know that this place really fell short. Let’s get down to the specifics. The décor fell short. The lights were really abrasive in one side of the restaurant, and since we wanted this to be a romantic date night, we asked to be moved to the darker side. The light still was a bit weird, but definitely better. The wall color and decorations were a little bit on the tacky side. This review is about to get really harsh. The food was not great. It started out promising but then got worse as each new dish was delivered. Garlic shrimp — this was perhaps the best dish of the night. Richly flavored. Sauteed spinach — also delicious, nicely wilted, had some raisins and sauteed peppers. Crab Croquettes — it was ok, nothing to write home about. Octopus in potato foam — it’s not potato foam, It’s mashed potato served in a martini glass with two octopus skewers submerged in it. The martini glass plating really made me feel like they were trying too hard. Pork shank crispy ravioli — the ravioli skin was too hard, like Chinese spring rolls. I was expecting a lighter fillo wrap. Special tapas: rabbit — The rabbit portion was too large, so it felt like we were eating an entire cornish hen each. It was also dry and flavorless. Salt-baked sea bass — here’s the kicker. This is supposed to be a main entrée, and when I read«salt-baked sea bass», I expect an actual salt encrusted sea bass where they give you a freakin’ mallet to break it open. That’s what I’m used to having at other Spanish tapas places. Instead, we’re served a mostly-tasteless sometimes-fishy fillet of lukewarm bass atop the SAME ingredients that were in the spinach dish. Like the check didn’t even bother to make something different. The vegetables at the bottom of it were actually pretty tasty, but overall, we took one bite of that fish and left it on the plate. Nevertheless, nothing compares to good company and a positive attitude. We had a great time, the waitstaff was fantastic, and we laughed about it. I just wish we hadn’t spent $ 130 on an unsatisfying meal with zero Spanish flavors to be found.

We had a really great experience here; the food was so delicious; the space was clean and well lit; the wait staff was helpful, checked in with us frequently, kept refilling our water; and while a bit more money than I would like to spend– the quality of food was well worth it. It seems like from the past reviews that you need to pick the right tapas so below is a list of our favorites starting with the most favorite though even the last ones were really delicious: Lamb raviolis Hangar steak Roasted asparagus with Serrano ham Spanish tortilla Garlic shrimp Crab croquettes Roasted vegetables
