Quality Inn & Suites Northampton- Amherst

Not bad but very thin walls & ceilings. You can hear people above you and beside you very easily. My suggestion is to ask for the top floor. Another issue was cleanliness, the bathroom was moldy and a lot of hair all over the tub.

One star is for the staff who were as helpful as they could be. Worst hotel stay in recent memory. Booked a suite as we have our son with us. First room was on second floor in old building with no elevator. AC did not get the room cool after 4 hours. And weather require AC right now. So, they moved us to a suite in the new building, in the first floor. About the time we were almost asleep, our son noticed a water leak. Back to the office and off to another room. This one on the third floor in the new building. AC works and the rooms were clean but moved twice and three different rooms. The hot water for the shower was scalding hot. Perhaps the water leak is the cold water line? Upon check out, they gave us ½ off. REALLY? That’s it? After moving twice between 10:00 and 11:00 pm? Desk staff were nice but we would never, ever stay here again.

Stayed in double queen efficiency suite on 7÷3÷15. We had an excellent experience, great value for the money. Both facilitates and room were very clean. Friendly staff, hot breakfast:) Will definitely recommend to others.

This was ALL I could find and wasn’t excited about it. And I am pleasantly surprised! Front desk girl was SUPER friendly and helpful. The room, while far from fancy or attractive, is neat and clean, albeit doesn’t smell so great. Full kitchen, big fridge. Towels are so so soft — you get used to sandpaper towels in hotels. No issues with wifi. Water tastes terrible but that might be a town thing. Parking lot a little wonky.
The 4 stars is for hotels of its category, not against all types of hotels.

Not a bad hotel. We stayed in the older rooms and they weren’t super modern and updated, but they weren’t horrible either.
Nice location, within walking distance to a gas station with a dunkin donuts inside, a liquor store, and bowling alley that serves food. If you’re up for a little longer trek, downtown Northampton is about a 10 – 15 minute walk.
The bed was comfortable, and our room kept clean (even during the holiday). The staff here was super friendly and helpful, they really made us feel welcome.
The breakfast area was nice there was a pretty good selection of hot and cold foods offered, and who doesn’t love the make your own waffle station. Though, if you come down around 9 – 10, expect it to be a little crowded.
There were mainly older people staying at the hotel, again, this could have been because it was Thanksgiving weekend. But the chair lift that can move someone up and down the pool stairs leads me to believe that this is their normal demographic. So if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to stay, this place is for you.

Bed bugs, bites everywhere, hotel was nice helping us get other accommodations at a better place and refunded 1 out of two rooms, they didn’t find us another place however they said they tried, my dad found a place about 20 mikes away, the mariott next door was booked solid .but it’s still F@ck!ng disgusting !!!

Comfortable beds, cozy rooms. The Continental breakfast is amazing. They have hard boiled eggs, waffle maker, egg beater made eggs, pastries, bagels, toast, toaster, Apple, orange, and cranberry juice, fruit and condiments.

Very good hotel for the price. Simple but clean, nice complimentary breakfast with eggs, waffles, etc. better than what I expected. Friendly stuff. I stayed for only a night while attending a conference.
Also very short drive/​walk to center of town.
Would definitely stay here again.
