Kelly Coffey’s Pleasure Principles is the most straightforward, introspective, and useful course I have ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot over the past 30 years. As much as I thought I had it together, I had never dealt with my personal demons, chief among them SHAME. Shame caused me to stop putting myself first, to stop paying attention to my body’s needs, to stop caring regardless of how I felt. Once I realized that there is nothing wrong with me, I was able to play the PART consistently in my life. It became easy once I stopped fighting it and learned to care for myself and experience deep pleasure. I love Coffey’s forgiving yet no BS approach – I needed to hear all of these things in my own language, and she nailed it. I have been using the tools from Pleasure Principles in my life for the last 2+ months, and they have made all the difference. I’m calmer… more focused… less reactive… and most important of all, I’m learning from my experiences – able to analyze, forgive, and move forward. A million thanks – I raise my(decaf) coffee to Strong Coffey! Note: she does have a Klatch option that is a paid monthly subscription to join others with similar situations/goals. Yes, it is more money, but unlike another review I don’t feel that it is any kind of bait-and-switch. I felt that the money I spent for Pleasure Principles is fair considering what I got out of it. You are not required to join the Klatch, but she strongly encourages that people get the support they need to make & maintain lifestyle changes.

I wish I lived closer to Kelly(across the country makes physical support in terms of training a non option) BUT… I work with Kelly via her online tools of just about every cool offering you could imagine! Emails of value and insight, facebook posts with relatable material, her web courses which are phenomenal, her online group(available via sign up after her Pleasure Principals course) and more… she’s the most devoted person I’ve come across in this«wellness world» realm and the most real. It was her honest, brave and outright funny blog that had me seek her out. I’m in my process trying to develop a healthier lifestyle aka love myself enough, as in through and through, to truly take care… and to uncover what that even means. Kelly is a lighthouse. It’s been decades that I’ve groped around these issues… addiction works like that. Kelly gets it and she shines brightly for all those she’s helping(including herself). I simply cannot give this stellar woman(whom I’ve never actually met) a higher recommendation!!!

Kelly is sharp, snarky, smart as hell, honest and knows her stuff. She pushes you to be better, as much as she supports your process on your own time. Best of both worlds really with a personal trainer. She makes work outs fun, and I have noticed a change in my strength in just a few weeks with her(twice a week), but I’ve also noticed a change in my thoughts, my way of being with myself. I participated in her on-lline course too– The Pleasure Principles– and I highly suggest it for those thinking about their health and not looking for a quick answer to dropping lbs. Its four weeks of humor, honesty, and a real instructor sharing her real life day to day experiences and challenges right along with you. Anyone who gets some time with Kelly is lucky indeed– her personal training slots are full with a wait list… get on that list people, don’t pass go, don’t pay anyone else $ 200…get on her list!

Working with Kelly is the best thing I’ve done for myself in years. Kelly makes me believe that my goals are indeed possible and WILL happen. My sessions with her are fun and rewarding — I actually enjoy working out — me! Kelly is fun, spunky, understanding, down to earth and she knows her stuff– she’s been there and knows what I’m going through. Follow her blog and find her on Facebook too!

My goal in training with Kelly was to help heal an injured knee and regain some of the strength I lost while parked on the sofa from the bad knee. Happy to say my knee is getting better and so are a whole lot of other things I didn’t really expect. A couple months in to this and I am feeling better in my body and much happier on a day-to-day basis. I look forward to my sessions and am very excited to see what changes transpire over the coming months and years.
