Tuesday Market

Who opens at 1:30 on a Tuesday? I found myself walking in-​between Thornes and the Garage on Tuesday during my lunchbreak, and thought to myself «I would love to get my lunch here, and while I am at it, why don’t I pick up my weekly groceries, sample their various wares, and support my local economy?»
But, alas, no: it was not to be so. They do not open until 1:30, in order to not strategically capitalize off of any working adult’s lunchbreak.
I have decided to invest my entire retirement fund into monsanto and chemically modified food.
I can’t wait to return here, when they will all be unable to swipe credit cards, or offer exact change.
I thought farmer’s were supposed to rise with the sun?
I’ve been lied to my whole life.

They have vegetables, and usually some pretentious live music. Think a Renaissance fair that sells organic vegetables.

I went to the Tuesday Market almost every week this summer and fall. The best part about this farmer’s market is that it’s in the afternoon/​evening, so you don’t have to get up early on the weekends to be able to get local produce. I’m giving them 4 stars only because I hope they add a few more booths/​vendors this next season to keep market going interesting week to week.

A wide selection of fruits, vegetables, breads, dairy, meats, flowers, even drinks and sweets! Family-​friendly and in a great location. The atmosphere is excellent. This is a fast-​growing, super tasty farmer’s market!
