New find for us… Ordered 2 smoothies. They actually had fresh fruit and tasted awesome… Also got a chocolate frosted cake donut and was very good

The bagels are fresh and toasted to perfection. Tasty breakfast sandwiches and I like that they’re wrapped in tinfoil so it remains hot until you get back home. Huge positive they have a drive thru but slightly disappointed they only take cash.

My husband and I wanted a non chained coffee shop so we stopped here. The breakfast sandwich is one of the best I’ve had and the coffee is good. I love supporting local businesses for this reason.

Mm mm that’s a damn fine donut. Best in the area, in my opinion, without including all the gourmet donuts at other fancy pants restaurants. And their breakfast sandwiches are tasty too. 5 stars for the delicious food, plus the great service and laughs you get from the guys behind the counter.

Most delicious food ever been going for the last 15 years. Small shop but they even have a drive through! Nothing fancy, nothing but yummy. CASHONLY

Really great place for a breakfast sandwich! Everything is made fresh to order and they wrap it in foil so it stays warm until you get to your destination! The two owners are super friendly too. If you order sandwiches be prepared to wait a little bit because as mentioned everything is made fresh for the sandwich! Also, the blueberry muffins are really good!!! Will try a donut next time!

After reading the reviews to this place, I forced my bf to drive me here before work so we could check it out. The shop is very small with only 3 – 4 tables inside, but there is a drive-thru if you’re on your way to work. It’s a little outdated inside, but it kind of reminded me of a 70’s diner. Two Vietnamese men were running the joint, and both were friendly. I got a breakfast sandwich on a bulkie roll with sausage. My bf got one with bacon on a croissant. He fell in love with his. While mine was very good, the bulkie roll was really just a hamburger bun. I also wish they had more cheese selections because I don’t really like American cheese. However, I still thought it was delicious and would love to come back again and try their donuts!

I’m all for supporting local businesses and this one is a big gem with a little storefront! I needed some coffee and went to Unilocal to see what was around. I came upon Honey Dip Donuts and the reviews consistently praised this place. So I decided to go and when I got there, definitely can agree with the others that the store is a humble little place, but the owner(s) manning the helm were welcoming and got right to the point. I first ordered a small coffee, then asked them if they could do something that wasn’t a sandwich and ended up getting bacon and eggs on a takeaway plate. It came out pretty quickly(it helped that I was the only one in the store at the moment) and they covered the plate in foil. They also added a fork and knife, which I appreciated :) They actually forgot my coffee, but after I asked about it again, the owner waved away my cash and presented me with my coffee. I was very appreciative of this, and left a tip(I still don’t know how much that coffee was, I hope tipping $ 1.25 was enough). By the time I exited the store, there were several more cars that had parked and their owners were entering HDD. I love how there were worn down work trucks and sports cars, with construction workers and businessmen alike coming in to this place, it’s lovely! So I managed to somehow time my visit there perfectly(thanks, God!) and was able to see that this place is pretty popular! And for the food, it was what I needed for this last cold day before the warm weather starts setting in tomorrow(crossing fingers). I went back to work and started digging in to my breakfast. Goodness, the portions are so generous! I didn’t realize how much I needed some good comfort breakfast food and the coffee was also just right, so it was a great start to the morning! These men running the store are very kind and generous and quick with service. I will for sure come back again! tl;dr: This is a great little hole in the wall. Please go and support them by getting some breakfast there :)

Love this breakfast joint! My first time here I didn’t have cash on me but the owner said I could pay next time… I have never heard of such a thing until I came here. Plus all the food is made fresh… way better than the rubbery food from the bigger breakfast chains.

Walking in, the store is nothing fancy and the service is straightforward. We got the sausage, egg & cheese bagel and the far eastern bagel. We also tried the honey dip donut and had a coffee. The food is freshly made on the spot. The portions are generous and the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. The coffee was super sweet(how he likes it) and the donut was soft and fluffy! I definitely would recommend Honey Dip to anyone craving a good breakfast joint. Tip — it is cash only!

They have the best breakfast sandwiches i have ever had. They only take cash so come prepared. They make it fresh and you have to wait a couple of minutes but it is well worth it. The guy that usually gets my order is really nice. They have coffee too which is pretty good. I love coming here Saturday mornings.

Fast, friendly service and a delicious giant bagel sandwich. Great tasting sausage and bacon that were not greasy, and fresh eggs. Decent coffee too.

They are so nice! And the donuts are AH-MAZING. I had to get 2.5 dozen donuts for various people, and decided to go to Honey Dip Donuts. I didn’t realize it was a cash only establishment so I went up the road to get some money and when I came back they had already boxed up everything and it was good to go. They even threw in a few extras and a muffin, just because. And then, to top it all off, they helped me out to my car because I had so many things to carry. I just finished eating 2 donuts, and they are just how donuts should taste! And the muffin was pretty exceptional as well.

I love it here! I really love everything about this place. The guys who run it are amazingly nice. Such sweethearts. And the food is fantastic, especially given the price point. I especially like the donuts(sometimes I can’t help myself and have two or three and then feel guilty about it the rest of the day) and the breakfast sandwiches. I’m not a coffee person, so I can’t speak to that. This place will continue to get my money!

This became my go-to coffee place when I was working in Marlborough. The Dunkins’ in the area are always ten cars deep, and the quality. .. mercurial. Honey Dip is so amazingly different. Never a line. The coffee? Same every time. Mild, never bitter, never burnt. Consistency. The donuts are really heavenly and HUGE, and the service is fast, friendly, and second to none. I always got a cheerful«Happy Monday!» or, even better, «Happy Friday!» as appropriate. I really can’t say enough about the two brothers who own and run this place. They’re so sweet, and as a regular every now and again I’d get a free muffin or donut. Hey, what a reason to become a regular, right? Having since moved away, Honey Dip is one of the places I miss most. Go and get a large iced hazelnut so I can live vicariously… xoxo.

I am tired this morning. And cranky. I spent the night before with Unilocalers(and Bigfoot) at an Elite event and, as many of you know, nights with Unilocalers never end early. I’m sure it has something to do with the fun and mayhem and WHEEEEEEE… anyway, so this morning I have to get up early for PT and: gasp!: exercise before coffee on less than 5 hours of sleep…(Oh… AND I have PMS!) Okay, I know, what does all THAT have to do with Honey Dip Donuts… WELLL… here I am in a mood to be a grump all day but I decide a bagel and coffee may help a little so I head towards the so-so best bet in town, Bambini’s when I spot Honey Dip on the right out of the corner of my eye. OHYES! I had been meaning to try this place… so I drive around the drive through but then decide it might be better if I just went in. Inside is nothing special… It looks like a donut shop, and it’s a little run down. Not messy or anything, it’s all very clean. But run down. I’ll admit I was surprised about the all-Vietnamese staff(and, presumably, owners). It not the visual you’d associate with a Donut shop but it is a match well made. I place my order slowly(I’m ordering for me and a couple of coworkers) while they run about helping other people. Me: «Wheat Bagel»(No wheat bagels) Them: «Oh! We might have made more, let’s look in back for you!»(Out comes wheat bagel). Me: «Chocolate glazed donut»(In the bag!) «Ummm… Ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant.» As that’s being made I look around… uh oh… no Visa/MC signs in sight… no swipe machine… «Uh… are you guys cash only?» CRAP! Yes, cash only. They are too small a business to deal with credit cards, I am informed, but no worries! «You pay next time.» «Wha?» This has happened only one other time to me, at Vietgrill in Canton, which now leads me to believe that Vietnamese people are the nicest, most trusting folks on the planet. Genetically. And when I’m all done and have my coffee… one of the gentlemen throws in «something sweet» for me, their signature Honey Dip donut. Nice touch! Kindness is really the best marketing tool. When no one was looking, I slipped my only dollar and a «You’ve Been Unilocaled» card in the tip jar and then promised to come back soon to pay my new-found debt and spend more money. The service alone makes me inclined to give them five stars, but, as it turns out… so does the food! The donuts were exactly what donuts should be… Crispy on the outside, soft and cakey in the inside. Oh so good. But the real star is the breakfast sandwich. Don’t expect what you get at Dunkin. This croissant was made on premises. The ham is sliced. The eggs is grilled to order. And then it’s all wrapped in foil to keep it hot. This may be the most delicious Ham, Egg, and Cheese on Croissant I have ever had(and, believe me, it’s an old standard, so I’ve tried a lot.) Lastly, the coffee is New England Coffee… and it tasted fresh brewed and was piping hot. Did I mention that my total bill is $ 7.90? No wonder they can’t afford to take credit cards! Go to Honey Dip. Give them plenty of business. And make sure to bring along some cash. Okay… so I’m still tired. REALLY tired. But I’m a hell of a lot less cranky.
