Hands down Dr Rasof is the best. I have been going to her for at least 4 yrs+. It is almost like going to a friend who happens to be a Dr. She listens to all of your medical issues and gives you her thoughts. I would say she is very realistic and practical. She is open to wellness options like Chiropractor, Massages, Acupuncture, Yoga. If you need a recommendation for other doctors she has a great list. She is very prompt via email to get back to you. She tends to check early in the am and late at night. Her nurse Diane is so friendly and nice. Very cool person. If you are really sick they can take you pretty quickly which is nice. I wish you could call the office directly but I tend to email her more since it is a direct connection vs going through the city. My husband sees her and likes her as well. She is probably one of the best doctors I have ever had.

Dr. Rasof is patient, caring and available. I love that I can email her with a question and will hear back from her in a relatively short time. I am comfortable with her outstanding credentials and she will always look into an issue if she needs to get more information. The office staff is very pleasant although the practice of having all calls go thru the downtown office is a bit annoying.

My review is solely of Dr. Miriam Rasof, who I used to see when she was a physician at Northwestern’s downtown office. She was a fairly new physician at the time, having only a few years out of med school on her belt at the time. What I can say about Dr. Rasof is that she always spent plenty of time with me, asking me tons of questions, and exhausting every option and test before making a diagnosis. I never waited in the waiting room for too long of a time, which I always found to be amazing, considering that she was part of a 10 –12 physician practice at that time and the waiting room was always packed full of patients and pharmaceutical reps. Dr. Rasof has a calming demeanor and she always put me at ease when I went to see her and I appreciated how she would incorporate newer medical practices rather than resorting to old school ways; once referring me to get acupuncture, massage, or to try herbal teas for my chronic neck pain versus taking muscle relaxants. I always felt that she would try anything over just simply medicating you if it wasn’t absolutely necessary.
