From my experience of being involved in CLE for 3 years now, 1 year one to one counseling, 2 years in an assignment group, I know it to be a fully accepting, loving community of all walks of life. It is faith based but it’s your own choosing, no judgements. It is a way to ‘redo’ ways in life that you keep you stuck or hold you down. I am so grateful for all I have learned and will continue to do in a safe loving environment.

I started going to CLE in 2009 for individual counseling. At that time I was sad, depressed, and totally«checked out» of my emotions and life. After a year of one on one with a(then intern, now licensed) therapist I finally had enough courage to go to one of their retreats(they have 3/year). Since the retreat I have now joined what they call an Assignment Group. In all my experiences at CLE I have been challenged to live abundantly by taking responsibility and being truthful. As with any counseling practice they have their lingo and techniques they utilize to help you be more aware, more alive, and more conscious. From time to time I resist this coaching, but I also have experienced first hand the learning and growing that can come from taking risks and being vulnerable. I recommend CLE to everyone! They have a staff who is licensed and equipped to deal with individual, family, or marital problems. If money is an issue they have always been accommodating to me, setting up a fee scale that I can afford. This practice is always expanding by training their supervised interns into licensed therapists and really integrating them into the programs. They offer a smörgåsbord of programs(something for everyone) — individual therapy, family/marital therapy, group therapy, and differently themed seminars and retreats. In the past year and a half I have found a caring community of support here, one that I’m learning to trust. Many times I find they have a higher vision for me than I have for myself and if I’m open to receiving it the world holds endless possibilities for me.
