Chen C Edward, OD

This is the former Sanders Court Vision Center, newly moved to a strip mall across the street from their former location. They are now on the southeast corner of the intersection of Sanders and Dundee and next to a florist. I continue to go there, was actually there yesterday as I had my contact lens checked out (a new prescription) and picked up my glasses (an old, but extremely timeless titanium, ‘Silhouette’ frame).
I love their new location and I am hoping that it gives them more visibility. Going to Dr. Chen’s family business (both his wife and son work there and soon their daughter will as well) is like visiting loved family members. They are always there to take care of us and the good service has never wavered. Aixa (Dr. Chen’s wife) is amazing at finding frames that look good on your face and is great at tightening them up and taking overall good care of them.
One story about them I have is that my mom used to go to them when she was alive and had a beautiful, comfortable pair of glasses purchased from them. I had forgotten that the were made of titanium, a choice we made for durability and comfort, in that they are extremely light. My mom took a fall, the glasses were mangled beyond repair. The nursing home got my mom a new pair of glasses and my poor mom could not stand the weight of the new glasses on her face. I took the ‘destroyed’ pair to Dr. Chen’s and Aixa quickly put them back into shape and they were soon as good as new.
Buy a pair of glasses from them and you will never regret it!
