My wife loves their bras but we went here twice and the staff is non existent. We were going to just buy one without any help and decided to wait in the checkout line. After a 10 minute wait and a «computer failure» we decided to walk out. There are other places to spend your money, so take it elsewhere.

This store can be a challenge if you are allergic to scents. VS scents are garbage and I sometimes leave this store having an asthma attack. The cash wrap area is placed in the scents and that frankly isn’t a good place for it. Many other VS stores have scents up front or off to the side and away from the cash wrap, likely for this reason. I mentioned this to one of the girls who worked there and she said it is because of loss prevention that the scents are in view of the cash wrap. But she never offered me her District Manager’s contact info so I could formally address. It isn’t her fault though, I was choking that day and needed to get out of the store. However, I come here because they have a decent selection and are usually stocked in all sizes. Also, the staff is pretty friendly and knowledgeable. But as an overall experience this is a «me thinks not» if you have allergies and asthma.

So I have passed by here many times, as is obvious by my «check-ins» and I see that the merchandise in this store is the same as every other VS. So I ask myself, «self, how can this store be getting such a low rating when it’s all the same materials as others?» So I read up on the reviews and realize all the negative ones are based upon poor customer support, not the merchandise. Well as a local community minded, compassionate, member of the Unilocal community I feel it is my duty to help out. I trust that by my offering help, like Karma, my situation will also improve. First, it appears that many report the store staff as rude or unhelpful. Logically, this can only be a result of them being over worked. Therefore, I plan to volunteer my services as a «personal shopper» and changing room assistant to unburden the overworked staff. Think about it, who could be better at telling you«how it looks;» a self entitled 18 – 22 year old Northshore teeniebopper or a stylish hedonistic middle aged man? Plus, I am told that I have always been very helpful in fitting rooms, I can hold your street cloths while you change or I can assist you in zipping or unzipping, buttoning or unbuttoning, especially with hard to reach locations. I am prepared to sacrifice what ever time and energy is needed to make the customer happy. I am just that type of a «giving guy.» So, all I need to start is another Unilocal member to volunteer as my first shopping partner and clothing model. Your sacrifice, along with mine, may help this stores ratings. In turn, like Karma, it may help me to clear up those prior«misunderstandings» I had with store security«misinterpreting» my attempts to provide more«detailed» reviews about what I heard were overly-cramp dressing rooms. Anyhow, that’s all I have for now, I will update you on my progress, just remember only you can make a difference by giving back to your community. Let me know any suggestions you have via compliment.

The store is under new management since its previous location in the mall. As a company, VS is a fucking joke. They run shit like morons and are EXTREMELY wasteful. As a store, the gals here are pretty awesome. I wont name names but there are a few here who need a major reality check but for the most part these girls are awesome and very helpful. The only negative thing i have to say about the store itself is that it is dusty and dirty on most of the shelves. all the time. If you go here for PINK clothes, don’t, they don’t sell it here. Also, if you have ANY returns, ask for Lindsay. They are her favorite :)

I would completely agree with the other negative reviews! In fact, I had the very same experience as Hayden and her husband. I went in here with a girlfriend(I am gay) to help her pick out some bras and as I went back to the fitting room to help her out, a sales girl, RUDELY told me that I was not«allowed» back to help my girlfriend with her bras. I am sorry ladies of Victoria’s Secret, men(both gay and straight) are going to come in with the ladies in their lives to pick out lingerie. I get that they may have policies, but get over yourselves. To me the issue was the incredibly rude manner in which the sales girl handled the situation. Yes, I think that the policy is ridiculous but if this sub-par store is going to have the policy, it needs to be handled much better. If you can do it ladies, go to Europe and buy your bras – its a far more pleasant and classy experience. You wont get the blatant arrogance and rudeness of the wonderful Vic’s Secret gals. And, I am not just some angry guy who didn’t get what he wanted – my gf was pissed off too. In short, this Victoria’s Secret and the entire(as far as I can see) sales staff sucks – avoid it at all costs ladies!

Dear Fallon and Diane supposed managers, You really need to work on your customer service skills. During a hectic sales event you need to support your staff not stand around. I’m sure Lori Greeley would be appalled by your behavior

I’ve had some really good experiences here in the past… Ladies who know my bra size at a(fully clothed) glance, sales associates who are eager to help me find matching bra-pantie combos, successful lingerie shopping sprees where I walk out, arms laden with those striped pink bags. Last time I went, though, which was admittedly just to collect on the free panties coupon I got in the mail, the salesgirl quickly pointed me to the eligible undies, asked me «and what bra were you looking for?» in a way that suggested that I needed to buy a bra to receive the free panties(I didn’t), and I waited in line to check out for almost a half in hour. I was the next person in line the entire time. It’s a pretty big store with a fairly good selection in a mall. If you’ve been to a Victoria’s Secret before, you should know about what to expect– Victoria’s not too good at keeping secrets.

I came in with my husband to pick something out together for Valentine’s Day. We picked some things out and I went to try them on. Now I recognize that there are issues with the fitting rooms sometimes, so I explained to the staff that it was something he was getting for me as a gift and I wanted him to be able to see what I was trying on(without having to parade out into the store). The girl was RUDE and no help at all, she wouldn’t let my husband even stand near the outside of the fitting room entrance. It was completely bizarre. There were clothing racks that were located near the entrance that he couldn’t even browse at because they were by the fitting room, making it impossible for him to shop. It was absolutely bizarre. So I had to walk out into the store with my little nighty on for my husband to even get a glimpse… it made it so that I didn’t even want to try anything else on… but I found some really great items and couldn’t resist. So following this, I asked for the rest of my items(I exchanged four of the ones I had for four of the others) and the staff acted like it was unheard of that I might need assistance. She handed me a pile of my stuff along with a bunch of other hangers and stated«Good luck with that!» I am still taken aback… The experience was so bizarre and just BAD customer service… that I am still wondering if maybe I was being Punk’d?! Although I found some very cute things, I bought NOTHING because I could not ask my husband to buy me something from a store that had been just terribly rude and tasteless with how they handled the entire experience. Dear Victoria’s Secret Northbrook — it’s time for an employee team meeting on Customer Service/Satisfaction.
