You might be asking why am reviewing an Italian restaurant in Northfield, New Hampshire. Well, I was in the area attending a wedding and this place was listed as one of the grooms favorites. With a cozy feel and almost family like atmosphere, I can see why it’s one of his favorites. The portions are the right size and the homemade pastas are delicious. I shared the spinach noodles with fresh tomato sauce with my mom and it was fabulous. Simple and pure. My dads homemade spicy sausage ravioli was also amazing! What a great find in a small town!

Went here on a Thursday evening. Our waiter was absolutely great – personable, attentive and willing to go out of his way. He even convinced the cook to create an add-on that wasn’t on the menu for one of our pasta entrees. Atmosphere was pleasant, location was certainly convenient to the highway and downtown Tilton. The food was very good. Love the wide variety of options for the build your own pasta entrée. Will definitely go back here in the future.

Definitely worth the trip! Family owned and awesome. The menu is amazing, but they will make you anything. I am being nudged to mention the veal, but I had the tender chicken. Glad we were introduced to this place as I will visit again!

I kept hearing about this place and I thought it was going to be a «cheap» Italian restaurant but I was in the mood for Italian and decided to try this place out instead of going to fratellos. To our surprise this place had a very romantic date night type of ambiance! The server was great, she felt like a friend at the end of our dinner! My hubby said the prime rib was superb and he’s kind of a prime rib snob! The carbonara was phenomenal! I will most definitely be back to this place really soon!

I love this restaurant ! I love the food, the waitstaff, the owners, amazing ! There is complimentary bruschetta and bread provided with your meal. I love that you can order your pasta, then the sauce, then add on the meats. The parmesan crusted chicken is my absolute favorite, I also love the gnocchi in alfredo sauce when it is available as their daily specials change. Tim is an excellent waiter who remembers my order and is incredibly polite. I am so happy I found this place. If you have to go on a weekend, try to do so early as it is a smaller restaurant and due to it’s overwhelming popularity is very busy on weekends.

I’ve eaten at the Franklin and Northfield restaurants and both are 4 star restaurants. Not fancy but neat as a pin and the food is the star. Free bruschetta is very tasty. Calamari is light and tastey with both the breaded rings/bodies and tentacles. Homemade pastas are very good and worth the extra dollar or 2. The specials board is loaded with 5 or 6 daily recommendations. The wine list is pretty pedestrian but has a nice assortment of varietals and a few Italian Chiani selections. Service is friendly, spot on. I’m a regular when in the Lakes Region.

This restaurant had a great cozy atmosphere with twinkle lights and comfortable booths. The waitstaff was very friendly and gave off the small-town vibe where old friends come in and talk for awhile. The menu was creative with build-your-own pasta dish options. Food was promptly served(although we went on a quiet January weekday evening). The Parmesan crusted chicken really tasted just like breaded chicken to me. The food was good and would bring me back if I were a local, but wasn’t spectacular. Overall a pleasant experience, and a restaurant that many chains could learn a thing or two from. We left pleased and full, happy with the experience.

This is a regular stop for my girlfriend and I, and we eat out a lot. This place blows Olive Garden way out of the water. Free bread and bruschetta as soon as you get there, a full bar(with great drink prices), and a specials menu that is always full of delights. I’m kind of a plain Jane type of eater, so I stick with ravioli and marinara, but it’s the best of its kind. The drinks are good and cheap, and you can generally see the Red Sox game from every seat in the house. Very convenient location right off exit 19 doesn’t hurt either. Ciao Pasta is a cheaper date than Olive Garden, but the atmosphere, the food, and the amazing service make it feel expensive. Well done, ciao pasta!

Ciao Pasta opened a second location in Northfield recently, which is conveniently located next to the Gulf station just off I-93 Exit 19(if you’re coming from the south). The original Ciao Pasta is located in Franklin next to the VFW Hall, but the off street parking is limited there. The Ciao Pasta in Northfield is open for dinner only Mon-Sat starting at 4PM. The place is very casual which offers takeout and full service dining. The dining room has several booths and tables and there’s also a bar area with TV. As for the food, the menu offerings include a good variety of pasta dishes, appetizers, salads, and desserts at reasonable prices. The designer pasta dishes are very popular: 1) Pick a pasta(imported dry pasta($ 3), fresh pasta, or filled pasta($ 4-$ 5)), 2) Choose a sauce($ 4-$ 6), 3) Add On Items(vegetables, meats, seafood, etc($ 2-$ 11)). I decided to stop at the Ciao Pasta in Northfield for dinner recently. I was seated immediately when I arrived here and the waiter arrived to my table with a big bottle of ice water and complementary bruschetta(toasted Italian bread with chunky tomatoes, oil, & seasonings). For a starter, the Misto Di Campo($ 5) was a very fresh and tasty salad which had mixed greens, roasted red peppers, tomatoes, olives, green peas, gorgonzola crumbles and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. For dinner, I decided on the Rosemary Papadelli($ 4) with Bolognese Sauce($ 5), which was good portion of pasta. The bolognese sauce was very good, which had a good mix of ground meat in rich chunky tomato sauce. However, the papadelli pasta(wide noodles) was on the chewy side and could’ve used a bit more time cooking it softer. I had enough to eat, so I passed on the offer for dessert. Overall, the food tasted very good, the service was attentive(more bread given, fresh ground pepper on the pasta) & prompt, and the price was very fair for dinner($ 15.26 total with tax before tip). I would definitely return to this location of Ciao Pasta, since it’s located about 20 minutes for my office.
