Dmitri’s Barber Shop

I saw this place a couple times while getting donuts or flowers, so I decided to stop in one Saturday on a whim. Really friendly barbers off the bat, if you are a talker, they’ll talk and if you are a generally quiet person like myself they are respectful as well.
I had James/​Jay as my barber and told him I didn’t think anything really jived with my hair due to the thinning spot in front. He assured me he could make it look great so I let him do what he wanted, actually. He gave me the best haircut I have had in at least 4 years and made me a believer. Follow that up with my first experience with a straight razor trim up, and I am a regular from this point on. I recommend this place for anyone who wants a great cut in a neighborhood setting for a great price from some great people. Thanks again, James!

This was my first time here and I was very pleased with the results. Good precision clipper cut and very friendly service. Derrick did an excellent job and was attentive to what I wanted and not what he wanted to do. After the initial clipping he asked if I wanted it shorter, which I did, and he cut it to my liking. $ 15 for a basic cut.

This place has been open about a year, finally stopped in for a cut.
The guys here are very friendly. Décor is Ohio State themed, reasonably comfortable.
If you have a shorter hair style and get a clipper cut, this is the place for you. They do a great job on those; I saw a few guys get finished up as I waited (Saturday afternoon), and they looked great.
If you wear your hair longer, or are looking for the whole shampoo/​style thing, this isn’t your spot.
I’m giving them 3 stars only because my hair got buzzed down shorter than I expected. I’m not MAD about it-it’ll grow back, and it’s summer, so short isn’t a terrible thing, but it was not what I was expecting.
