Glenview Montessori School

My children attend this school and I couldn’t be happier. The administration has been easy to work with and the teachers are superb. All the head teachers have been here for well over 10 years +, and are so loving to the children and at the same time gently pushes the children towards academic excellence. My kids are very happy at this school and are learning so much. I can’t believe how well my 4.5 year old is reading already. I would highly recommend this school.

Both of my children have attended this school for the past year. The teachers are wonderful, and the school has a real interest in the families and children. They worked with our single income family and our children have learned so much! My son was potty trained very quickly thanks to the patience and persistence of his teachers and Im forever grateful. My four year old amazed me! She was doing multiplication and loving it! If you are looking for more than just a school but a community Glenview Montessori is a wonderful start for your children’s education.

My son started the school there and came home very angry. He started hitting himself and waking up at night. He would even be mad by mentioning the teacher’s name or school. That’s how upset he was. I told the teacher and they said that he is doing fine at school. They tried every way to persuade me to keep my son in school. I told them that I wanted to pull my child out of the school. I was told that I have to find another student to replace his place and I need to give them 30 day written notice, or I have to continue to pay the rest of the year’s tuition. I just feel that isn’t fair. If the child isn’t happy we shouldn’t continue forcing them to go. Also, they need to work on their policy. It is really hard to judge whether a school will be a good match for a two year old. I believe it is a good school and the teachers are really nice, but my son may not be ready for it at this time. My advice: make sure your child will like THIS school 100% before you sign on. Otherwise, you are going to pay the rest of the year tuition or one has to find another child to take the spot.
