Subway

Now I know, writing Unilocal reviews for Subway is a little odd. They’re all the same… right?
I honestly felt like the manager at this particular Subway (inside a Pilot Flying J) was THE nicest fast food employee I have ever met, that this WAS Unilocal-​worthy.
I’ll be honest. I don’t frequent Subways often, particularly due to consuming way too many in my «conserving money» phase (i.e., being a high school/​college student). I stopped in this one on the road for work, thinking I’d grab a cheap sub, scarf it and be on my way.
There was a line, and the man (only one working) said hello to everyone waiting and told them he’d be with them. He was so friendly and polite. I guess I wanted to document it because it’s rare you see anyone so pleasant. After I got my sandwich and sat down, he stopped by everyone’s table and asked how everything was and started cleaning. We got to chatting and you could tell he was proud to work for both Subway and Pilot.
It was refreshing to meet someone who was happy to be at work in a customer facing environment.
