Ramada Plaza Northglenn/Denver North

First time in Colorado, and was booked on the 4^th floor facing the busy highway. It is loud, but the view is great.
The room itself is nice. Very clean. Bed is comfy. Wifi. Cable. Breakfast is great.
Here for work, and not familiar with the area but, the location of the hotel is convenient. Restaurants, easy access to main roads.
Definitely will be back!

disgusting, ghetto, filthy, unprofessional staff, unfriendly and stinks like an alley… my room was nasty and i ended up leaving a night early it was so bad.
i do not recommend this place even to a bum.

this place needs a complete renovation including the hotel staff.
there are much better places to stay in the area, dont stay at the ramada unless you are really desperate and cant find anywhere else to go!

We are here right now, in our THIRD room in 10 minutes. We are not ones to complain, but this place is just an old hotel with a new coat of paint. And the walls are still dirty. First room, we asked to be in a quiet area away from highway noise. It was right next to the highway. Second room, the headboard was falling off the wall, and the shower curtain was on the floor. Third room; there are no outlets on the wall where the bed is, so how am I supposed to plug in my phone and use my sound machine? The rooms are sort of cute, but really not very clean. The walls are all banged up, and the furniture is falling apart. If we had not booked with a third-​party company, we would be OUT of here. For $ 260 for two nights, I’m pretty disappointed.

I got to Denver around 11am and I was going to try to leave my suitcase in the hotel or sometimes they have a clean room and they treated me like I was crazy, so I had to drive around town with my luggage at the trunk of the car until 3pm, then the key machine it was out of service and had to wait around 10 min to checking in but this time the front desk lady was nicer than the other two from the morning shift.
The room, bathroom was full of dust in the floor, it looks like they was fixing the curtain in the bathroom the one had a crack in the wall, I can get better towels at the Dollar Store! Beside that I barely slept at night because our room it was facing the highway and it was loud.
«Free Breakfast», I went with my son to get some breakfast, scramble eggs was dry, chicken with a lot of oil on it, 4oz glasses… Then after I got our food I had to ask for silverware and they told me if I don’t have a ticket I have to pay (the lady that checked me in forgot to give me the ticket) so I had to walked to the front desk, make a line, asked for a ticket and then walked back to get our silverware and go back to our table to eat our cold meal.
The hotel in general it was in a really bad shape, some walls with no paint, other ones full of cracks, outside paint faded…

The place was clean enough, although there was a slight smell of raid near the microwave/​mini fridge. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. It was a better sleep than at the Sheraton Denver Tech. The bathroom was functional as well, but the tub had been reglazed at some point and it was already chipping (didn’t look good). Good for a quick nights sleep. Lots of restaurants in the surrounding area.

Nothing fancy but it is clean and does the trick. We got bumped from our flight and the airline set us up here. The convenience store they have on site is a lifesaver when traveling with a little one.
Of course the bathroom smelled like pot but its Colorado what do you expect?

Perfect hotel for a night or two. Nice staff, clean rooms, multiple restaurants in the same parking lot. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Not terrible. Stayed here because we had a two day conference at the hotel. The conference rooms were nice, as was the central meeting area inside the hotel. We visited the bar inside and had great service. Rooms weren’t bad, a bit dated, but clean, and most importantly, no damn bed bugs!
A few suggestions, since the hotel is right next to I-​25, allow me to run the fan setting on the AC/​heating unit to drown out the noise. Next, I need to be able to close the heavy drapes to block out the outside light, not just the sheer drapes, they don’t block much. Last, make sure all the lamps inside the rooms have knobs. I had a hell of a time turning the lights off and on.
In a pinch, I would stay here again.

Our room was small and dated. It’s Colorado, so the pot smell was VERY strong on our floor. It is right next to the interstate, so there is that constant noise. It is close to many restaurants and other shopping. After showering, the floor (carpet) outside of the bathroom was soaking wet. We got a decent rate, so I can’t complain there but I won’t be staying again.

Oh man, I don’t even know where to start with this. I was a former employee in the damons restaurant of this hotel. Which is apparently called Colorado bar and grill now. I’ve never worked at such a dirty, ran down and flat out disgusting restaurant establishment. When I first got a job here as a server, I knew this places was extremely drama filled and disorganized right away. Employees acting inappropriate in front of customers, the manager arguing and yelling at her son in front of customers. I’ve even had a table get up a leave because they where so turned off by the way some employees where acting. And the kitchen and server ally? Was a mess, black mold around the floor and walls, kitchen was pretty dirty and ran down. The place is a total dump. I honestly felt extremely embarrassed working at that place at that establishment. If you don’t like drugged out hotel guests, and adults acting like children. Stay away.

The hotel was dirty and run down. The hallways stunk of weed. The rates are cheap, but we’ve had much nicer stays for the same price.

Used, damaged furniture, prostitutes coming and going all night, and the service was horribly bad!
There are far too many nice hotels to stay in that area. Do not stay at this pig pen.

It really wasn’t as bad as what other reviews say. I had very few issues and hardly any that actually had to do with the hotel itself.
The fitness room was small, but it had enough to workout any part of you that you needed to workout. The pool was big. I didn’t go in but I could smell the chlorine a mile away.
The lobby was surprisingly beautiful, with a waterfall and giant arm chairs. The ladies at the front desk were pretty patient and kind.
My car got hit in the lot, but the guy left a note with his info, so that was ok.
That was pretty much it. My first time in CO, so I didn’t know elevation would get to me and I got really sick, but again, not the fault of the hotel.
Also, this is near one of the most beautiful refineries I have ever seen. I spent maybe 20 minutes just gawking at the lights in the pitch darkness.
I enjoyed my stay here. I would stay again if I was crazy enough to ever go back to Colorado.

So, it’s not horrible… its not great. As mentioned in other postings, the place is dated and somewhat dark.

Our mattress was shaped like a bird’s nest — a big dip in the center
The bottom sheet would not stay on the bed due to the dip
Common areas felt dingy and somewhat dirty
The breakfast buffet staff was a little absent
The attached restaurant is not great
The price was a bit high for this quality

This hotel was advertised as a 3 star hotel… it fell way below that level. The Ramada plaza was one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever seen. From the lobby with unswept floors and carpet and over following trash to the broken elevator button, to hallways with dirty carpeting, to my room with hair in the tub and a rank odor to the room. Beyond the filth of the hotel… it suffers from so much neglect and deferred maintenance. The wall paper in my room was literally falling off the wall. The furniture is dated, chipped and old. The chair at the desk was not only stained but sunk in when you sat on it. The air conditioning in the room did not work at all. Lastly, the hotel is literally right next to a busy interstate highway… and the complete lack of any insulation or sound proofing made it feel like I was sleeping under a underpass. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

This place wasn’t nearly as bad as some of the other reviewers make it out to be. It’s not a super fancy palace hotel, but it’s not super terrible. That being said, it’s probably TOO expensive. We stayed here for free, as a gift from my friend who got a discount on Hotwire.
The bad:
–Our first night, the hallway smelled worryingly like propane, and our room smelled like something burning (like the heater had been turned on for the first time and dust was burning inside of it… you know the smell.)
–Our toilet got clogged on the first night, and wouldn’t flush properly for the rest of the time. They gave us a plunger and offered to have someone come fix it, but my boyfriend was sure he could. So, good in that they offered to help, bad in that the toilet was just… bad. It overflowed on the last morning.
–The pool was really chlorinated (but all hotel pools are, because of the sheer amount of people of dubious hygiene that go in and out of there every day.) and had a coke lid floating in it, which is the fault of gross trashy people, not the hotel. But they should have people in there more frequently to clean it, probably.
The good:
–The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. It’s got a pillow top and the pillows were super soft and awesome.
–Super friendly service.
–Free wifi! And it wasn’t super slow, like some hotel wifi.
–Breakfast buffet was awesome.
— Convenient to a liquor store, grocery store, and a million restaurants. Some even sharing the same parking lot. I never had to drive more than 5 minutes for anything I wanted, which is awesome.
The whatever:
Some things other people complained about was the fact that the lobby/​rooms were outdated, but I don’t really care about stuff like that. I thought it was cute. Also it’s RIGHT next to the freeway, which was a plus for me because I love the sound of the freeway to help me fall asleep. If you don’t like it, just put the AC on because that sound drowned out all other sounds.
In conclusion, I would stay here again, but I wouldn’t pay full price for it.

Needs updating still hanging onto the 80s. Bottom floors are animal friendly, so be prepared to hear animals making noise, and your room will smell like one. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall, moths made holes on the curtains, bathroom shower is dingy, hallway stinks like weed. Just an overall rundown hotel. Staff is friendly but if your used to a clean environment this will disappoint. Positives free wifi and a good breakfast buffet are about it. Spend more and stay somewhere clean

Came in late after photographing a wedding and the receptionists were wonderful in accommodating me. I’m very particular when it comes to pillows and I can say that I absolutely loved them! Not sure if it was because I stayed in one their better suites, but the bed was also great and slept like a baby throughout the night.
The breakfast was a bit better than average, and the restaurant, for dinner, was also good.

We stayed for almost a week and the staff was great. We had to keep extending our stay and the front desk was very accommodating.
The accommodations were not over the top, but they worked. They are pet friendly so that is why we picked them. We didn’t have any issues with any other dogs while there either. They put us on the first floor somewhat near the door so that it was easy for us to take our dog in and out.
The room came with breakfast and it was a pretty extensive spread with lots of options. They had more then just waffles and stale pastries that are often seen at other hotels. They had hot options, fruit, and an omelet station.

I am sooooo torn on this review. We got the room for free with our wedding package so remember I didn’t have to pay for it. We checked in at about 12 midnight after the wedding and the girl at the front counter looked like she had been crying and was super frustrated. The printer wasn’t working so I didn’t worry about much she had me sign some paper.
The room was BEAUTIFUL! it was a great room and had many towels and pillows and just was so relaxing. The bed was comfortable and we were looking forward to free breakfast.
We went down for breakfast and we were disappointed in the food quality and what was available to us. It’s a buffet so we tried a few things. We picked at it a little and then left. I was pretty disappointed with it…
The day before that I ate at the restaurant with my father, Damon’s or whatever which was also pretty fail food wise. I’d rather go to Denny’s
