Craving something a little different than the standard seafood fare that the area has to offer? Drop into this pizza haven! Hubby and I ordered 2 pies and a salad to go– prosciutto, homemade red sauce & cheese, the other chicken, garlic cream sauce & cheese and a bacon blue cheese salad. Pies Both great in their own way, but the white sauce stood out above the rest. Red sauce had a lot of seasoning and is very flavorful, but a bit too overwhelming. The crust was A+ and was thin, chewy and light– didn’t have that greasy/​heavy pizza coma afterwards! Salad was just ok, forgot the dressing– oh well. Quick take out service for such a busy little place! Definitely the best, if the only, pizza in town!

My wife and I have had a lot of pizza around the State of Maine and I think that Pizza Permare serves the best by far, the ingredients are fresh with many choices. We suggest that you try it at your earliest convenience. It is worth the drive – Mike and Lea from Sullivan

Crust was too thin was my main issue. I tired the Fire Roasted Garlic Sauce spinach with Feta cheese (sauce was good) but I felt like I was eating a cracker with toppings. I love wood fired pizza just wish this had thicker crust and maybe a bit less cost for the size of the pie.

Wonderful wood-​fired thin crust pizza. Perfect after an afternoon of kayaking on Knight’s Pond. Friendly service. Outdoor seating. Quirky and delicious menu options. Interesting pita sandwiches too. Broad selection of wine, beer, wine, and other beverages. Cool interior design and décor. Can’t tell from the exterior how great this place is but the smoke from the chimney should provide a hint.

Pizza was very tasty! But…
The lady didn’t know the difference between Kalamata olives and black olives. I ordered black olives that turned out to be kalamata olives and ended up picking them off.
This place need to decide if they are full service and higher wait staff or commit to over the counter service. It was confusing if I should get my own condiments or if they were going to bring them.

Had a great experience at this new pizza place in Northport. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming as were the folks. We had some delicious breadsticks with hummus, a good GF wood-​fired pizza with andouille sausage, mushrooms and olives, and a nice IPA to wash it down. We will definitely go back!

The picture does not do it justice! the snow is gone! I have not been as I was staying away hearing the crowds had been burying the kitchen but late Friday night I called in an order for a pie to go. There is something about a wood fired oven that speaks to our DNA, the smell and taste are imprinted by ten of thousands of years of wood smoke and taste. The place looks great but I only came in for a «go-​go» order and went. The pie was delicious. Hot and waiting when I walked in the door. And Mamma! waited on me. One of the family. Located on Rt. one about half way between Linc Beach and Belfast it gave me a reason to drive the shore road bay through Bayside. That’s worth paying a toll for in itself! The pie barely made it home but my half Italian wife pronounced it Bella! Fantastico!
