If you’re looking for a gastronomic disaster, this is your place. Be sure and get a burrito. It’s a small tube looking item that’s a microwaved gut bomb. The tacos are not too bad, filled with the usual meat, cheese, lettuce and s few tomatoes. The service is lackluster and the place could use a could scouring. Other than that, Bön appetite.

I’ve been eating at Taco Casa restaurants for 20+ years. Their food is Americanized Mexican and it is awesome! The secret is in the sauce. Mild, Hot, or Extra Hot are your choices. I think they put crack in it. Seriously, I was home for 6 days last month and ate there 4 times!!! My favorite items are: The Chicken Taco, Hot, Extra Tomatoes; The Chicken Burrito, Hot, Extra Cheese; The Chicken Enchilada, Hot; The Chicken Chimalupa, Hot, add beans. I always get extra sauce and load it down. Sometimes I jazz it up with a pepper cup. I used to want to grow up and own one of these restaurants. I lived 1 hour away when I was in highschool and my friends and I would all chip in gas money just to drive to T-​town to eat here. My home is less than a mile from it now!!! I even own a Taco Casa t-​shirt!!! The owners should be writing me a thank you note for probably putting their kids through college. :)

If I ever go out of town for any amount of time, I always make sure Taco Casa is my first visit when I’m back in town. Consistently good, quick food

When people move away from Northport/​Tuscaloosa, this place tends to be the first they say they miss, because you can’t get anything like it elsewhere. Everything here is good, especially the beefy nachos and enchilada (also known as the «bucket of cheese.») The sweet tea is good too — huge, plenty of ice, sweet and cold. Since I moved, I make it a point to stop here every time I’m passing through. Never was a fan of the Tuscaloosa location for some reason, but this one ranks among my top three favorite places to eat in the Tuscaloosa/​Northport area.

Anyone who doesn’t like some drunk Taco Casa can go kill themselves. Go there, right now, order a taco burger and a enchilada. Dip the taco burger in the enchilada’s sauce. Tuck your boner under your waste band.

Came here today for the first time and it was very good. We were on our way out of town and just got a few things: chicken burrito, regular taco & a soft chicken taco. We watched them make our order fresh, it was accurate, and tasted great. A great alternative to Taco Bell — wish we had a Taco Casa here.
