I was always a main stream big brand coffee drinker until I came across 9 Bar Roasting a few months back. Since then I have been hooked. Find myself home brewing now rather then going to Starbucks like the masses. The quality is second to none. The flavor and aroma that fills my kitchen just makes the start of each day that much better. I cant wait to try the other flavors 9 Bar has to offer. I will be sure to come back and post what my thoughts are on all the flavors once I get the chance to try them…

I was actually pretty surprised with this coffee. Generally I like to grab a cup of coffee at a coffee shop but after ordering a bag I got hooked on the idea of making my coffee at home and the convenience of not paying for cup after cup. I love the Turkish coffee. Ordering is easy and fast which makes my life that much easier. Love this place.

I just moved from Vienna to LA in January, and it is has been hard to match the European-​pedigree of coffee. However, 9Bar is as close to Viennese coffee shop quality as I have found!
Favorite coffee place to buy coffee in the Valley — for sure five stars!

I love 9bar’s coffee! In fact, I’ve made a habit of frequenting coffee shops who carry 9bar coffee. Morning nights in silver lake happens to be on my way to work so it works out great. I’ve also purchased packages from 9bar directly and used them in my espresso machine at home. I’m a huge, huge fan!

Wow cool little spot. I found these guys on Unilocal.Just thought I would check them out. I thought it was a coffee shop but luckily to my advantage it’s a coffee wholesaler I got the best espresso beans for way less than everyone else.

I have to take off a star because their prices have gone up dramatically since my last review while the commodity price of coffee has declined. For $ 18, I have a lot of other options. I always try to favor local businesses when possible, but I won’t overpay. They tend to roast too dark for my tastes anyway.

WHAT A GREAT FIND! local coffee roasters! Great coffee beans, roasted to perfection and a company run by fun and service with a heart guys. Any size order welcomed and when I went to get my first order, the beans just came out of the roaster they were so fresh! This company is the one to watch. I found them by asking Hummus Bar what kind of beans they use because their cappuccino’s are consistently THE BEST. Convenient on line ordering and free shipping of FRESHLY roasted, quality beans, or… Drop by the humble roasting location in Northridge. Follow the coffee aroma and you’ll be glad you did.

One of the best taste to coffee I have ever experienced.
They are actually my office neighbors and they are such nice people.
All their staff are Highly skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to roasting.
They roast their coffee on a daily basis making it fresh and the smell is to die for!
I highly recommend to give them a try!

So I finally found out who supplied the AMAZING coffee at Food Lab on Santa Monica Blvd!
Most definitely is my favorite coffee!
Not only can I have coffee at an awesome café, but I can also order it directly from the 9 Bar website!
I really enjoy the Costa Rican blend, it’s the best!

I work at Crave Café and we serve 9bar’s coffee and espresso. They are very adamant about coming to check on our grind, on our stock, and they are very pleasant with the staff! They’ve made late night trips when our 24 hour restaurant gets overwhelmed and runs out of espresso, and they’ve always been very flexible! Switching to them from illy has ensured that we have fresh coffee that tastes the same each and every cup! We at Crave Café in studio city LOVE 9bar!

Highly recommended! I have a small coffee shop on Topanga and since I’m serving their coffee I get many compliments, they even showed me how to properly use the coffe machine. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly :-)

These guys supply coffee to my local coffee shop and it is amazing! Looked them up and went to their website to order coffee. Turns out they weren’t so far so drove by and picked up a few bags for the house. They were kind enough to show me the roasting shop. Really cool guys!
They even let me sample some new coffees they just got in!!!
