This school is by far outstanding, yet, I truly feel just like all~they have weaknesses, too. I think for the well-being of the kids with any type of emotional, social, or special education needs~this school needs to be more helpful in adapting to the needs of the students. If a child is a product of divorce, by all means, do not ostracize the child. Educate other kids and parents, as well. Special education students don’t need to be shipped off to another school. This great school has an opportunity to grow and be more inclusive. I hope they choose, if not now, when? My children had a unique opportunity there, but in retrospect I wish I had taken a stand for ALLSTUDENTSANDBEEN A VOICEFORSTUDENTSWHOMHADNONE. The school is extremely weak in math, as well. This is well-documented. Their outstanding qualities are listed everywhere and fairly. How about some diversity, too? I hope Heschel grows by looking inward and listening to ALLSTUDENTS! That’s how you become exceptional.

I recently took my daughter for a pre– ISEE placement test since she will be in high school next and I was disappointed to learn that many of the questions according to her were not taught yet to her from this school.

Our experience has been nothing short of amazing at this school! We have three children here. Two in middle school and one in elementary. The teachers are warm, experienced, and skilled — creating a nurturing educational environment. The administrators are helpful and accessible. The school offers state-of-the-art technology, impressive resources, and a wonderful Judaic Studies program. The community has been warm and welcoming. We couldn’t be happier!
