BevMo

This review is long overdue! We had the pleasure of working with Sean for our wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in September 2015. From start to finish, he made us feel at ease (despite us waiting until just 2 weeks out from our wedding to come by). We initially chose Bevmo because they offer free delivery services and were lucky to have gotten much more than that!
Bevmo allowed us to take advantage of Hummingbird’s BYOB policy without the stress of heading to Costco, loading up on an unknown amount of alcohol, and then figuring out how to transport said alcohol to the venue on the busiest day of our lives! Sean helped us easily pick out everything we needed for a fully stocked bar, set us up with a very tight delivery window as required by our caterer and all for an amazingly affordable price! We had a guestlist of 180 and didn’t have to stress at all about serving everyone. He never made us feel pressured to overbuy (in fact, he gave us affordable suggestions for swap outs when appropriate) and was so positive throughout the entire process. My most appreciated part was how he unhesitantly stepped in during the 2 days before our wedding to work directly with our wedding planner to deal with a slight fiasco related to ice and heat. I know that was way above and beyond what he signed up for. My husband and I were so grateful not to have had to worry about the issue during a high-​stress time and can’t thank Sean enough for his willingness to help and proactive nature. If you are getting married nearby (or just want some awesome drink recs), CALL SEAN!

A friend recommended this place to me since I was trying to find a good liquor store. This place reminds me of Friar Tucks in St. Louis. I like how they place the food in the middle of the store near the refrigerated liquor. Huge huge store with everything from soda to hard liquor from all over the world. I wish the regular cola selection was a bit bigger. Plenty varieties of root beer, but not sooo much on the cola varieties. :(But, then again I must look harder or I missed it. The employees were really helpful on which wines are good. Yes, they ship wine too since you can’t ship via USPS.

I don’t like that you have to ask for the restroom key. I think that is so tacky and strange when stores utilize that. Selection for IPA’s is pretty large. That’s all that matters to our family. This store is oddly close to Total Wine, and I prefer that store over this one.

This is the best BevMo in the valley! The staff is amazing and so help full! Shawn is awesome at helping to pick the best selections of wine for my events. Thanks for the great experience.

Ok, this Bevmo location is spacious, clean, and have very friendly staff! I specifically enjoy when staff members are drink connoisseurs themselves!
The isles are well organized. It’s easy to find drinks and the categorize the wines by type (i.e., cabs on this isle, moscato on the next). They also have easy to read labels on their wines. It’s easy to see if that specific bottle has awards or is rated high. LOTS OF 5c WINE SALE ITEMS that are HIGHLY RATED!
Other liquor are organized well too! If lost, the staff are more than happy to help you locate what you’re looking for or even give recommendations.
They have fun little things that you can grab if you’re having a last minute party (i.e., straws, plastic ware, disposable glasses).
They also have other fun items like ice cube trays, cork screws, bottle openers, fun mugs etc!
Prices are good but If you have a BevMo card, it’s even better!

We hosted our company’s holiday party last week and needed to stock the bar. As soon as we walked in Debbie helped us with all our selections and made great wine recommendations. Sean arranged our delivery so that we didn’t have to worry about carting everything back ourselves and even made a special delivery of ice on the day of the party. Thank you so much Sean and Debbie for helping us throw a memorable party, we couldn’t have done it without you!

Decent prices, outstanding customer service, nice size parking lot. I can’t complain!

This perticular location is fairly nice and I think it’s a bit smaller. They have a large selection of wine and other alcohol. They are across from a place called Total Wine. I thought that Bevmo’s selection was smaller than Total Wine and seemed to be a bit more expensive as well

BevMo has everything, as far as pricing I don’t even know what to compare it to. I just know that every time I’m looking for something they always have it. It’s always clean and well stocked and anyone of the employees can help you with suggestions and to locate anything you are looking for. Great place to stock up before a party, or just to get a bottle of wine.

Sean is awesome & the main reason I’m compelled to write this review. He is someone who obviously loves life & loves his job — always a smile, is helpful, outgoing & accommodating. When I tried a new beverage & didn’t like it, he returned it no problem! I was shocked — I didn’t know you could return alcohol.
The store is HUMONGOUS, clean, fun, bright & easy to find stuff … and if you can’t find something, I promise, if Sean’s around, he’ll help you find it. The selection of wine is top notch & the deals are so good, that I actually ended up canceling 2 of my wine club memberships! It’s simply easier to go to BevMo.

this place is my alternative to the total wine. They have a good selection of wine and other hard liquor concoctions. Mixed drinks, beers, shots and even accessories for wine and ingredients for margartas or bloody mary, name your drink. But this place cannot compare to total wine in terms of selection and customer service

Overcharged for items! So I was overcharged for some tequila. When I called the store, the clerk verified that I had been indeed overcharged, but seemed pretty nonchalant about it. The clerk stated that the tag must’ve been wrong and that it happens. Didn’t seem to upset or surprised by it. So it was a difference of a few dollars (10% of the price of the item), so I wasn’t going to go back to have it adjusted. Thought it would be more appropriate to share the experience with the community. Their prices really aren’t that great anymore. I had really just gone in to get the cute little bottles as stocking stuffers. Just be aware that you have to watch when they scan your items. 10 percent adds up.

Deserves 2 stars based on selection, but customer service is POOR. Waited five mins at locked liquor cabinet but employees ignored me. Had to walk to cigar counter to request help, and then wait for her to call a second employee to walk over and unlock. Not very friendly to a guy spending $ 75+ and often spending $ 100+. Overall, employee morale appears low and not courteous. If Duke of Bourbon did not close early, I would never return. Will spend my $$$ elsewhere vs returning to this store.

A pretty good location, they obviously have tons of variety since they only carry alcohol. You can find items related to drinking if you need anything else. If you are into beer, wine, brandy, rum or whatever your poison, then you know there are not too many places out there that carry this many options.
Parking is convenient and everything is easy to find. You can learn so much about alcohol just by wondering the isles and reading up on brands. Awesome place to prepare for a big party or stock up that man cave.

You didn’t have enough of the Canadian beer I was looking for but you found it at your other store along with their phone number, address and directions (about 10 minutes away).
Friendly and helpful.

Compared to BevMo in Simi this one is much larger. Friendly staff, but I do not klnow why anyone would go here when Total Wine is basically in the same shopping center.

Friendly, helpful staff and lots of parking. This location is easy to get to and convenient, especially if you’re shopping in the area.
Was greeted several times when I visited to make sure that I had everything that I needed. I was looking for Moonshine for a client gift, so I was pretty lost. But with their help and suggestions, I was able to grab a very nice batch. :)

Dranks on Dranks can’t go wrong with that! Wines, whiskeys, vodkas, all your pre-​game Vegas trip bottles that you might want to stock up on before you head out. I haven’t personally shopped from here but my boyfriend ordered some wine and picked it up same day. I’ll have come back and snoop around to look and compare prices.
