Stopped here for lunch today. When entering there was no one to greet us, husband I just stood there by the entrance looking around a bit confused.(first time here btw) after getting out drinks & placing our order, we decided on a pineapple & pepperoni pizza & a lasagna. The food arrived in a timely manner & it was enough to fill us both up. The pizza in my opinion had way too much cheese, not a lot of the toppings. Husband thought the food was just ok and I agree.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Have frequented Chi Chi’s for many years, and never disappointed with the food. Pizza and Rigatoni with meatballs among my favorites. During our last visit it was quite busy — and the service was rather slow as our waitress had quite a few tables to take care of. What we found interesting was despite the place being super busy, and service slow there were several staff members standing around chatting and on there cell phones.

We ordered an Italian soda and it just tasted like carbonated water. We had to add equal to it to make it taste decent. We had the same issue with the Arnold Palmer. Food-wise, we ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and an individual pizza with tomato and basil. The pizza was okay but the pasta sauce tasted burned. The free sourdough rolls were the best part of the meal. They were warm and crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The butter was alta Dena brand and it was good. We won’t be going back buy the restaurant was very popular and crowded.

Their noodles are very good, but this place needs a huge work-up. It’s smelly inside and the furniture was falling apart. The staff is nice, but on the slower side.

This is one of my husband’s favorite restaurants. We are both partial to the one in Simi, but this location can stand on its own as well. We love getting the antipasto salad with blue cheese and italian on the side as well as pizza that we split. I also love the grilled meatballs and my husband likes the meat sauce so he often gets the shells with meat sauce or the lasagna. All of the service we have received has been very nice. Even when we have come on busy nights, they normally get us in pretty quick. All of the food we have had has been tasty. So, no complaints here and since this location is much closer than the Simi one to us we will probably be frequenting it a bit more.

The pizza from Pizza Hut(create my own) was way better than this. Chi Chi Pizza– half salami/mushroom half sausage/green pepper. I am not sure if its their tomato sauce or the combination of salami and mushroom, this side(my side) tasted kind sour to my like. I also do not find their crust anything special. I never like and understand the concept of one or two toppings pizza. I just don’t think just two toppings can compliment each other well. They put way too much cheese on the pizza that almost covered all toppings. Even my friend who grew up with cheese think it’s way too much. Plus this 2 topping large pizza is not that cheap as it looks(approx $ 20,Large pizza $ 15.95 + $ 3.8 for two toppings). Chi Chi fried chicken, super crispy like there’s a hard shell outside, which is not bad bec I like skin to be fried crispy. My first bite was it’s not as juicy as I expected but it’s def not dry that you can’t swallow it. Flavor is ok. I also not the fan of their golden fried potatos, which is a chubby version of fries but inside is too soft like its not cooked through. They also have AYCE pasta lunch $ 8.95(11 – 3:30pm Mon-Sat) or dinner(330-close Sunday only). Service is very attentive and they do have comfortable booth seating. My friend’s family frequent this place over the years… and Chi Chi just celebrated their 50 th year anniversary few years ago… I just don’t think this restaurant can survive in OC that’s all. In Northridge, yes. for their future 100 yr anniversary!!!

Great place for endless pasta! Great spot for a family dinner or just for some good grub! They also have gelato which is great. The clam chowder was some of the best in the area!

Oh Chi Chi’s! This place is great for what it is! The wait wasn’t too bad even though it was moderately busy — maybe about 15 mins. The food is pretty decent and tasty and definitely reasonably priced. Our waitress was very intense but well intentioned. We ordered the minestrone which was a salty goodness and the rigatoni with meat sauce(about $ 11). Both pretty tasty and nostalgic but no doubt on the saltier side which doesn’t bother me. Pasta comes with refills which I had no idea but one serving is definitely plenty but a second to go would make for great leftovers. Servers and hosts were very friendly. This place is great for: –a fun and casual bite. –large parties with friends and family. –take out. This place would not be great for: –a romantic dinner. –authentic italian.

Just ordered the spaghetti and meatsauce and it’s seriously so good! I suspect that they make their noodles in house because the spaghetti tasted fresh. Flavors were amazing and it was a nice size portion. They forgot my meatball, but I called the next day to let them know and they told me I could come in and claim my meatball! haha Everyone there is so nice, also,

Chi Chi’s a nice place to get lunch or dinner if you’re crazing an easy pasta dish or pizza. No frills, decent tasting Italian food and nice service. The restaurant itself is nothing to write home about. I absolutely love their spaghetti and meat sauce. It’s something about their pasta(maybe the buttery flavor of the al dente pasta) but it was good. It’s good and simple. The pizza is decent, nothing gourmet about it. The salads were good as well. Good for decent Italian, cheap and affordable and very casual dining.

Well this review is over do. As I’ve stated many times I’m not a fan of carpet in Restaurants. Its real hard to maintain and most of all kept clean. This location has carpet in the main dinning room. I came in for lunch on Tuesday, it wasn’t my choice. I wanted to go to Rosie’s BBQ. However Rosie’s has moved to another location in the city of Chatsworth. In Rosie’s place, they are putting in a IHOP. They have a lunch special that includes a pasta dish, side salad and along with dinner rolls for $ 6.95 or you can do all you can eat for $ 8.95.But really how much spaghetti can you eat. The spaghetti wasn’t bad, it just seemed to missing something. I asked for additional meat sauce. As for the service, eh could have been better. The server seemed to overwhelmed. 2015 Unilocal Challenge.045/100

This really is my favorite pizza in all of the land. The cheese is so plentiful and covers the pie all the way to the edges. No need to order extra cheese. The pepperoni is the smaller yet fantastically flavorful kind. The grease released by the pepperoni adds another level of flavor so if you order a plain cheese pie it’s a totally different experience. On occasion we will order it spicy«they season the pie with cayenne». The antipasto salad is a meal in itself. I usually make a nice cold cut sandwich with the warm rolls at the table. salami, pepperoni, fresh mozzarella cheese that is put thru the grater, and the dressing is this simple red wine dressing that I just can’t seem to replicate. PROTIP: Do yourself a favor and try the fried chicken here. They have some of the best fried bird ever!

Best. spaghetti. ever. If you’re craving a simple dish of spaghetti with meat sauce, don’t even hesitate to come here. The noodles are the best I’ve ever had — chewy, doughy, with a distinct and delicious flavor. The sauce is absolutely perfect. A lot of Italian restaurants that serve marinara or tomato meat sauce often serves it watered down, sour, or completely lacking in flavor. However, chichi’s meat sauce is slightly sweet, yet still savory and rich in flavor and substance. On top of that, it’s so affordable! For the gluttonous like me, you can order the all you can eat option for only one more dollar and the portions are very decently sized. Fettucini Alfredo is also very good. It’s very creamy, so beware because although the first few bites are heavenly, I find myself getting tired of it about 1⁄3 into the dish. The pizza is a little salty but they don’t skimp on the cheese! The cheese is stringy, the crust is delicious, and overall the combination of ingredients blend very well together. Sourdough bread that they serve can either be AMAZING or just mediocre. When it’s hot and straight out of the oven, the rolls are heaven on earth! I used to come here just for the rolls; however, nowadays the bread comes out cold and doesn’t taste as great. I believe the other options of pasta dishes at this place are just mediocre as well, which is why I docked a star. Otherwise, whenever I’m craving a simple dish of spaghetti with some extra cheesy pizza, you will find me at Chi chi’s pizza.
