I have been coming to this church for over ten years and it is still very much like a family for me. It’s a very open and inviting place. Pastor Roger’s sermons really hit home I invite all to come and see for themselves how welcoming it is.

North Hills, CA
This church helped me discover my faith, and it’s been the village to help raise our 2 children. I was agnostic and quite frankly, skeptical about the Christian faith for many years until discovering this amazing community. We pride ourselves in welcoming everyone, and I mean everyone. I think it’s a great place if you are seeking a spiritual path especially if you’ve turned away from church in the past. Come visit, you won’t be disappointed!

I think anyone would feel at home here.
Congregational Church of Northridge is different from the Evangelical mainstream. I’ve been coming here for seven months but I’m not a member yet. I think it’s unique because they actually mean it when they say, «No matter who you are, or where you are on your life’s journey, you are welcome here.» (I love that!) Previously, I was a member of a very nice Evangelical church for over 20 years; I was on staff, served in leadership, and by all measures seemed plugged in. But my family and I never really did fit in. After a while it became clear that when someone would say «let’s just agree to disagree» it was code for «you’re making me think too hard.»
When I went to CCN for the first time, I felt at home. The lack of spiritual pretentiousness was so refreshing! Here you will find a normal, diverse, eclectic mix of all types of people who love God and love each other. They are genuine, but not pushy. They care, but they will not hound you to join. Pastor Barkley’s sermons will bless you and challenge you. I love this church.
