Hair by McKenna

McKenna is the best! She has been doing my hair, color and cuts for at least 8 years. She is a color expert. Often, when I have no idea of what I want to do with my hair, she will talk with me and see what look I am trying to go for and how much time I’m willing to put into it. If I show her a picture of a style I like, she is very honest about whether or not I will be able to keep up the look (she knows me oh so well!!)
I always get compliments about my hairstyle and color. Trust me, it’s all due to McKenna.

McKenna did an excellent job on my hair. I love the cut. I showed her some pictures she gave me some ideas and together we came up with a really cute cut. She listens to what you want and is so nice. It’s always a pleasure going to her.

I’ve been going to McKenna for years and she always does an amazing job. She’s taken my hair from being super blonde to a low maintenance ombré back to a light all over blonde. My hair is never damaged and is always what I want. Highly recommend

I found Mckenna off of Unilocal and decided to give her a try! I’ve never been happier with a haircut before. She listened to everything I wanted my hair to be and made it happen! I have really thick curly hair and she knew exactly how to work with it. Her salon is so cute and she is so friendly! I am definitely only going to her from now on!

McKenna is absolutely amazing!!! I always leave extremely happy. She even exceeds my expectations. She listens to what you have to say and consistently delivers what you want. I have always been picky about my hair and for years I would spend $ 100 for a haircut… insane, I know. McKenna cuts, colors, and styles my hair even better than those high end salons I use to go to. She is definitely a hidden gem. I will always go back to McKenna.

My sister recommended McKenna to me. I had extensions, very blonde (from boxed hair color) ends, and my real hair hadn’t been trimmed in 1 – 2 years. Plus, I had a laundry list of requests for my new color and cut.
McKenna nailed it! She got the cut perfect, got my color just right (I wanted a slight balayage/​ombré look) and was able to take out my extensions when I was sure I’d be freaking out about what was left of my real hair :) I was convinced I’d leave crying due to the change. However, I’m super happy with my hair. It’s been a few weeks and I’m still loving the color and finding new styles that make my cut look fun and different. I will be back for sure!

McKenna is the only girl, not African American that understands what that mixed girl hair does from wet to dry… you mixed, curly hair girls know what I mean. .the «poof»!,. Don’t let a bad hair cut happen cause that just means now you’ve got a mushroom! Yes I’ve been there. But after the first time I let McKenna do my hair with a cut, color with highlights, and straiten, I was hooked.
She cut my hair curly, then after blow-​dry and ceramic flat iron she just lightly touched up anything out of place. After that visit, my husband and i both were completly in love with my hair whether curly or strait.
It was again I went back for highlights. I was having a baby so I wanted a mommy pamper, but low maitanance highlight and color, and a natural look. I have told people in the past I want thin highlights very natural, and I dont know what they hear me say but my hair doesn’t look the way I thought I explained. Anyway, McKenna rocked it. I had great highlights with a curly and strait hair style! Another friend of mine with curly hair and Puerto Rican roots, took my advice and went to see McKenna and yes, she got hooked!
One thing is sure, she loves hair, listens well, and is in the right business. My last haircut before moving away I wanted it chopped! I told her what I wanted to still be able to do with it, but left it in her hands from there. Never had any regrets. Now when I know I’ll be visiting Northridge area, I try to put some change aside to give my hair some love.

Love Mckenna! She’s a great colorist and consistently keeps my hair looking its best. I always leave happy! She’s very professional but also fun and easy to talk to. Don’t hesitate to book with her — you won’t be sorry!
