Hookah Source

I was honestly shocked that this place still exists. It was cool in Highschool/​college when I didn’t know what good hookah was and could walk downstairs to the «lair» and play pool while smoking. But honestly, it has just degraded to a bunch of hipster college kids, wannabe gangsters, and valley posers. Go to The Social Lounge. It’s on the other side fo the parking lot and you’ll get much better hookah, environment, and service in addition to much better prices.

So this place is good if u it need somewhere to chill and hang out. They have a option of putting milk in the hookah, I couldn’t really tell the difference. But they don’t serve alcohol. A plus is they let you bring in food from other places. I saw someone eating sushi last time I was here. They also messed up on my check and over charged us. So 3 stars.

Randomly checked this place out on Saturday night. It is very easy to miss. There are steps leading down like a basement, which was very sketchy. The place kinda looks like someone’s basement or garage, with run down couches and a pool table. The hookah was ok, can say it was cheap. I don’t know if I would make going to this place a habit.

Hands down the best hookah spot in the valley! I’ve been coming here for years & service is still amazing. They always remember what flavour I like to smoke & what drink I normally get. Plus they’re open all day long, which works out for me because I can come in & relax on my breaks. It doesn’t hurt that their free wifi is stronger than mine at home.

This place is located in the shopping center with CCC and its very hidden. I would call it a dungeon. I go to CSUN and went one day during my lunch break and did not enjoy the hookah at all. It never died and the flavor was okay, but when I finished, I felt very light headed. I am a frequent hookah smoker and this has never happened to me. I think they need to put less tobacco while making it. It is also inconvenient that they old take card during the afternoons.

Mediocre. Not too much Hype. I tried dancing and they got mad… Wouldn’t come here again.

I liked this place, the staff is very nice and welcoming, their hookahs are good too, I do not like the movies they play in the morning time, other than that it’s awesome

The most amazing service I’ve received. They constantly attended me and had a very chill environment. The management is very friendly and makes sure the environment stays friendly and safe. Would definetely recommend to everyone.

One of my close co-​workers took me here around 4 months ago and I have to say this place is beyond amazing. The staff is very nice and super helpful. The hookah is the BEST I have had in the valley & it’s very affordable. They have a lot of flavors to chose from and have their own mixed flavors which is cool if you don’t know what you want to smoke. If you’re ever in the valley I strongly recommend you come here and try it out! Whether you have been smoking hookah for years or its your first time, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

This place is a great place to hangout with a group of friend. Chris makes sure we’re okay and that we have everything we need. This place overall is chill and a great way to relax and just hangout. The hookah is better than any other place I’ve been to and the music is always poppin’. I highly recommend this place to all you hookah lovers!

THE BEST HOOKAH SPOT IN THE VALLEY! I’ve been coming here for almost 8 years and it’s still my favorite spot to hang out! The music choice is amazing. They have free pool table and cards. Movie nights here are better than Netflix and chill. Chris and his crew are chill AF, they have the best service than other places I’ve been to. Highly recommended!!!

This place is average. I’ve been here before many times but it has been a while since my last visit.
I just recently came over the weekend with some friends right after Fright Fest. I forgot this place remains open late til 4am over the weekend.
It was 5 of us, including myself. I met with 4 of my friends who had just got there before I did. We wanted to all hang out for a bit more before we called it a night. They chose to smoke hookah, which I wasn’t in the mood for, but I still came to hang out. Once I arrived, we were approached by a staff member who made us purchase another hookah since it was 4 people per hookah, which was understandable. I didn’t want to smoke hookah but I offered to make a drink purchase so that I wouldn’t sit in the group for free. I was declined the request and were told to purchase a hookah for me to remain seated with my group. Long story short, we bought the «Hawaiian punch» flavored hookah which was pretty good at first but after a few minutes, it became real harsh. We were unable to locate our server and left shortly after that.
Like I said, this place is average. Only positive thing about this place is that they are opened late over the weekend which comes through if you’re looking for a late night spot.

Hookah source is the spot. Perfect place to come and smoke some hookah by csun. Mark packs the best hookah and always takes care or us.

Got kicked out because I had no sleeves?! Wtf! They tried to offer me a ratty old t shirt to put on, even though the shirt I had on was cute as fuck. I wear a 2x in shirts, and the shirt they offered me was like a medium, and it had holes in it. There was also like 10 other girls inside with strapless tops and of course they get special treatment. Horrible service.

Here on a wednesday night and the music selection is amazing. This ace has definitely changed since I remember coming here 4 years ago.
I love the customer service here and we are being taken care of very well. I wish this place sold alcohol but most hookah places don’t so its all good.
I am trying out the mint that my cousin suggested and it tastes very good since I always stick to Tangerine + Honey Dew. I love lighter tasting hookah. Overall great experience.

Great place to hang out if you’ve got nothing else to do on a Friday night. Chill atmosphere. Hookah is pretty good. Customer service is alright.
I just wish they would play some more music. Every time I go the music is low and the tv is on. If I wanted to do that I would stay home lol. Other than that– cool place.

This place sucks. I forgot to write a review for this place. I recall smoking really low quality hookah here. They use freaking MYA hookahs or was it Caravans? Either one are both garbage hookah quality brands. But even those hookahs can work good enough if you were to have good packed bowl and BETTER HOSES. But this place uses plastic tubing you can get from Home Depot, and then jam the hose into the hose socket, not even a grommet. LMFAO. I can make a better hookah than this place using apple, water bottle, and two straws than to smoke their hookah filled with smoke leaks out of their hose grommets.
I’ve asked if I can at least bring in my personal hookah hose in, and they refused to let me. They give me extreme attitude about it. And now, Social Lounge has Dream hoses with aluminum stick, WAY better than the hoses that this garbage lounge uses. So my question to people who go to Source is, why would anyone go to Source when there’s Social right next to this place and Social even lets me bring in my DHose 2.0 Hybrid regardless of them having DHose aluminum stick handle.
I will say their DJ is awesome and plays good music but that’s about it. It’s so suffocating smoking in this underground s***hole. I’ve even seen people throw up outside. It’s disgusting.
Their hookah is also extremely overpriced. You can find so many better lounges for cheaper price than here. Only way to maximize the efficiency of their price is if you have 4 people since it’s 4 people per hookah but then again, it’s better to go to Social than here. If you and your guests are 3 or less, there are far better lounges to find than this place.

I like coming here with my friends. The atmosphere is good and they are open late. They don’t have drinks but allow outside food while you chill. Overall a good spot. Check out happy hour or ask the staff about a free refill if they have it atm

Not the greatest hookah spot but close to home & great for late night hang outs.
They let you bring food in but dont bring any drinks in ! Since they have their own sodas & stuff they’ll either make you throw yours away or they’ll put it in their fridge for you.
Service is meh depending on who’s working there that night, ambience is casual. There’s a pool table & plenty of TVs to catch the game on & sometimes there’s a DJ !
