I will start by saying I have been coming to New Style since High School, almost 18yrs now. Lisa has always done my manicure, Nancy my pedicure. Lisa had an injury, and I thought I would give the new crew a chance. I have so many regrets writing this. Amy was rude at first, especially when I expressed shock over the $ 18 price increase; tea and water are served now was the explanation. Ok, change of the guard, I get it. I had a pedicure done by Patrick. My big toe looks dull — the gel wasn’t applied right. Not a huge issue, and I would have gone back the next day, had my toe not been bleeding from being gauged several times. My sock was stuck to my toe people — ouch! It took three days to heal. I decided to try and find a new place, despite my separation anxiety. Until… Lisa called, and she is coming back! She is only working weekends — what a happy day!

Not my usual nail place, but this was my second time coming here. My(the name of the nail technician who helped me) was very sweet. Quiet mostly, but made a little conversation. She took her time and although my nails were a little short(which was my fault for not mentioning otherwise) she did a vey good job on my pedicure. It was clean and used a brush with acetone on it to make sure there was no polish on my skin. I would definitely come back a third and fourth time :)

Ive been coming here for years and i honestly love it. the prices are great the service is very friendly and they are very attentive. They are changing a lot of things for the best they have a new selection of colors and new spa chairs and manicure tables. It is also very clean which is something that is super important to me. I really recommend this place if you live in the area

I found my nail lady and place! I love Tammy! Unlike previous experiences w other nail technicians, she works with you and communicates w you what you want and what will even work better! I am super picky and for the first time, I actually trust my nail lady! I brought in a picture and she copied it exactly :)

Okay, an update… I went here last night, and had an older gentleman, do both my hands and feet. He did the worst job on my fingernails I have ever seen. First off, he obviously didn’t want to be there. He didn’t get all the polish off from before, left a few pieces on the edges, and he didn’t trim my cuticles and dry skin very much. The shapes didn’t match, so I literally had to find an emery board and fix them myself, while he walked away to do something else. Once he was done, I looked at my nails and every single nail had nail polish run over the lower cuticle, like a child had done it, something even I could’ve done better! I told him I work at Saks in Beverly Hills, and really need my hands to look groomed, especially my cuticles, but he didn’t seem to care. I had been very nice, trusting him to be a professional at his work, but I finally had to say something about the sloppiness, in a nice way. He begrudgingly brought out a brush with nail polish remover, and pretended to fix it, but it didn’t make any difference. Another customer next to me was asking him questions, and he ignored her. If he doesn’t want to be there, do all of us a favor and retire. I was so disappointed because the first time with some other women, my nails looked so good. If you go here, make sure you have one of the ladies do it. Don’t let this guy near your fingernails. By the way, I am usually a big tipper, and very rarely leave negative reviews. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I feel I should warn others.

First of all this is my very first time EVER taking the time to write a review but this time I HAD to so ppl know not to come here! I’ll start with saying I walked in & there was no clients &3 nail techs which no one even bothered getting up but instead as they continued sitting yelled to ask what I needed. I said«I have a picture» all she did was nod her head immediately without looking at my picture, I was in complete shock I couldn’t believe what I saw so I asked«what u don’t want to do it?» She said«no». This place has HORRIBLE customer service would never ever walk in to that place again! Don’t know how they stay in business or maybe that’s why it was dead in there lol! I wish I could give NO stars at all for this place!

This certainly isn’t my favorite place to get my nails done, but it’s a close second when my regular place is closed or I’m in this area as opposed to close to home. It’s also about $ 10 more expensive than my regular place. The reason it’s not my favorite is that I oftentimes feel rushed here, the staff aren’t very friendly and don’t make much conversation(and yes, I understand the language barrier could be why, but s smile and hello go a long way). I always feel like a part of good costumer service is making a person feel welcome and comfortable at your establishment. Beyond that, their swift nail jobs might not be worth it if you’re a a stickler for attention to detail. Let’s just say they don’t always paint in the lines. Happy manis and pedis!

The worst experience ever! The woman who gave a pedicure was terrible, wouldn’t even scrub the bottom of my feet to make them smooth. I walked to my car to look at my feet in horror. It looked like I did them myself at home, and I suck. She just chopped the cuticle around my big toes. As a result they did not look smooth. I went back in and honestly it made me more upset because she said I was crazy and had bad skin. Hello why do you think I have to go somewhere to get my nails done?!? No one else tried to help me even though that it was obvious that the owner was there. AVOIDTHISPLACE! DONOTBETRICKEDBYCOUPONS! Not worth it at all.

I personally love this place. I come here almost every weekend. Although the prices are a little high they do a wonderful job. I love the nail art they do and it’s always worth it. I tried going to several different places after going here to see if there was any better places and each time I wasn’t as satisfied as I was going to New Style Nails. It is a little upsetting that they talk in a different language around me and the other customers but I worry more about my nails. I definitely recommend them.

Went today to get a fill. I’ve been seeing this place and thought I would give it a try. I went to another shop for my past three fills the first time was great but after that is was down hill. Jenny did my nails today. She was friendly, had just the right amount of conversation. I dont like to chat too much when I’m getting my nails done, I just like to sit and relax, kinda like spa or massage time. She didnt hurt or cut me and did my nails perfect! Short, thin and natural looking. It’s hard to find someone who will do them thin and natural looking. Polish was great, didn’t miss any areas(another per peeve of mine) and no bubbles. The owner, Lisa even came over to say hi to me, very nice lady. Priced very reasonable, $ 17.00. They are open 7 days a week too! Parking can be tricky depending on the time of day, there are a lot of other businesses around. Located in Dennys lot.

I have been coming here for 15 years. I have a problem with one of my toes sometimes so I really like the man whose name is pronounced Dow.(I don’t know how to spell it). He is great at cutting out the part that hurts. Lisa does my nails and waxings and I’ve never been disappointed. Love paying less. I don’t need a fancier building or a better ambience for an hour mani pedi.

HORRIBLE. Was in the area for a bit and stopped here with a friend. The’re was a sign ’20 $ gel’ outside. We get in very quickly. The woman could not accept that we needed our thumbs shorter for work. It was not an option to shorten them. she refused. Should have walked out then but i was almost halfway through. The paint was uneven the first time. Someone came in and asked if they offered gems. They said no. She then pointed at their gem display. They said no. They kept randomly walking off and switching. It comes time to pay… my debit was declined.(no way) So they ran it again. For 35. When I mentioned the sign they said something about having to make my thumbs longer and put an extra coat on. So it was extra. WHAT? Seriously? Was charged 20, AND35 after checking the bank. In two days all my nails were chipped. Three days later I grab a 5lb laptop case, as usual and three of my nails SHATTER. I’m not rough with my nails. I don’t li’ve a lifestyle where I break nails often. Took them to my place back home and NONE of my nails were salvageable. 60 $ to get them ripped off and fixed. AVOID.

Sooo after being snubbed by that other horrible nail place I decided to come here I was in need of a manicure bad since I was going to a wedding. Anyhow called them up said I need a manicure they took me in right away. I just sat there and just had them do my manicure, no conversation no nothing, just asked me to pick my color. Either way the place was okay, I wasn’t asking for a full on conversation or anything but at least how are you or something. Pretty much just chirped crickets the whole time, I would have expected some conversation especially from the owner Lisa and being that it was my first time. Anyways overall manicure looked nice but the nail polish SMELLS really bad, even after it was all dry I still smelled it when I got home, yuck. Decent prices, would I go back. Maybe… A-Ok!

I have been coming to this shop for a few months. What they lack is stellar customer service(they don’t go out of their way to make conversation with you) they make up for with their prices. A regular mani & pedi without the spa chair is 25 dollars which is a good deal. Most importantly, they do a pretty good job! After a month, my toes still look pretty good. Overall this shop is A-Ok because of the prices and it’s location. Other than that, I would recommend other shops like Four Seasons Nail Salon. This is place is my fav in the Valley! ://www.yelp.com/biz/four-seasons-nailspa-and-hair-woodland-hills#hrid:AXfR8W-1sP1b-EblelFiUw
