1. DIDNOTRETURN2PHONECALLATTEMPTS 2. REFUSEDTOFILL2YEARCURRENTPRESCRIPTION 3. LEFTMEWITHOUTPRESCRIPTIONWITHOUTHELP I went here for 2 years before they stopped my prescription and required an office visit. I was happy to oblige except they refused to fill prescription until office visit set for weeks away from prescription date. The office blamed me for not calling«soon enough». I assumed 2 weeks was plenty of time to return a phone call and schedule a visit. My prescription is ALDACTONE used to treat women with PCOS. It combats testosterone, assisting with acne and mood swings. Without it I am unable to work and function due to wild mood swings and increased panic attacks. Their mistake GREATLY affected my life. Please put your money into a doctor who cares for your health.

I come here out of habit. But the front desk, I don’t know if they just don’t like me, is very rude most of the time. Their system changed in the new year and they freaked out about it, after a few months I would think they would have it more down pat but no. Not really. I came in two months ago, and I called for a refill and they told me I haven’t been back in six so I had to come in. They trusted the computer, and didn’t put in everyone’s notes yet. so I had to come in again, which was pointless. Later they apologized. Also the doctors keep changing. Dr Coleman and the other long term I’ve been to but they didn’t help with the problem of acne. Nancy was great and found newish, current things that worked for my skin. But she left. So now I just come back to get refills so I don’t break out. And deal with the rude front desk people. And leave within 15 minutes thankfully. All the doctors are really nice. And I know the front desk people are the first faces you see, just thought they would be a tad nicer. And I’ve been coming here for over 3 years.

Very bad costumer service, we come back 4 times to get prescription for medicine and they told us they send it to farmacy that they never did. I had visit to Dr Ava Khosraviani. She was very cold person and don’t care so much about my problems.

So sad that the ethics of the new management are not great. After being a patient for a long time I am switching to a different office. My last visit was a procedure not covered by insurance. I paid the balance in full. Shortly after I receive a bill from them stating they billed my insurance for made-up procedures and they have the audacity to charge me co-pay. I had t report fraudulent billing to insurance company. So disappointing and upsetting. I guess the new owners really need the money.

I have been a long time and very satisfied patient of Dr. Coleman of Northridge Dermatology. Today I’m primarily writing a review of the office manager Maribel. However, to start, I’d like to mention the top-notch services provided by Dr. Coleman’s staff, Kendra, Peggy, Vivian, Carrie, and his nurses. Maribel has been instrumental in helping me to traverse through all difficulties when dealing with health insurance and pharmacies for years. Recently I needed to switch medications quickly and would not have been able to get the task done with efficiency and effectiveness that Maribel demonstrated. I am so grateful to Maribel for the work she does, it’s changed the quality of my life.

I was sent here by my PCP and during my initial consultation when I filled out my history and physical and insurance paperwork all was fine. I submitted my insurance information, and was seen for a consultation without any problems and was even scheduled for a minor surgical procedure. I took time off work and came in on the day of the procedure, they asked me to fill out the same paperwork I filled out during my initial visit, they asked for my insurance information and proceeded to get me set up for my procedure. Five minutes before my procedure I was informed that they do not accept my insurance and my procedure would not be done unless I paid cash for it. Pretty interesting that they had time to check my insurance before my procedure and did not. The staff there are not the friendliest, seem inept to do anything and dropped the ball on this one. A waste of time and money for me. They least they could have done is accept that they made a mistake, done the procedure at no cost to me and trained their staff on the proper way to do things. Avoid this office if you can.

I came to Northridge Dermatology for a few different skin related reasons but mostly to have two moles on my stomach removed. The building is easy to find and parking is gratuitous. After checking in, I was asked to fill out a few forms about my medical history(medications you’re on, any conditions. etc) and then waited about 10 minutes or so to be called in. The nurse who called me in was very sweet, friendly and patient. Soon, Doctor Ram came in and he as well was very nice. He made sure to ask me how the service up front had been, he mentioned they are very concerned at the practice about how they treat their customers and want to make sure they all get the best treatment. Doctor Ram, after asking questions about what I was there for, inspected my skin and scalp. He was very informative the entire time, explaining what he was doing and why. Maybe it’s because he’s a dermatologist or maybe it’s because he is fairly young but his personality is great! He’s warm and inquisitive — nowhere near as dry and as boring as most of the doctors I have encountered in the medical field. After he painlessly removed two moles, he mentioned he would see me back in a few weeks to talk about my results(he is doing a biopsy on one of the moles) and for further procedures. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants not only great service, but someone they can feel comfortable with and someone who is not so cut and dry.
