This is our favorite go to place for gyros, llafas, shwarmas ever since we moved to the valley a year ago. Love the lemon chicken! One time we wanted to order take out but didn’t know they were closed on sundays so we called falafel King down the road. Boy„ did we learn our lesson quick. It’s like apples and oranges although they serve the same type of food. We’ve been back time and time again and pita pockets, never disappoints

Oh my god… the laffa bread is AMAZING. If you’re a bread person, you will be in heaven. Delicious, fresh doughiess. Just yum. It kind of reminds me of a super-fresh, homemade, and VERY thick flour tortilla. It’s just perfect. I highly recommend the lemon chicken laffa! The chicken is cooked perfectly and it’s a great way to enjoy your laffa! Just know, it’s not your normal sized little wrap. The thing is HUGE… and delicious :)

Besides the fact that I ran out of gas while parking and had to walk 2 miles down the road to get gas in this deathly heat, the food at this little joint did make me feel better. Walking in this place the atmosphere is very casual and chill, but what sets it over is the awesome customer service you receive. The gentlemen working in the front were extremely welcoming and informative of their food. You can tell off the bat that they take pride in the food they serve and the quality ingredients they use. The food definitely showed it. Everything we ordered was very flavorful and there homemade sauces knocked it out the park. Recommend trying one of the wraps with their fresh hot sauce. The unique pita bread wraps are nicely packed, perfect for a meal on the go.

Very good food. Lamb kabob, grape leaves and falafel was Awsome. I would skip the fries and salad with the plate though. They were both bland.

This place is fantastic, it would be worth it to go here just for their laffa but everything else is really good too. Not only is the food amazing but the people that work here are incredibly friendly and helpful as well. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants, I have never had anything but a positive experience coming here.

I love shawarma. I tried this place today and I can say that their hero shawarma is very good. The place is clean, owner and staff are friendly and best of all is they stuff your orders with so much meat it’s really unbelievable for the price. I highly recommend this place. Truly deserving of a 5 star rating!

I’ve been to this eatery several times. This space used to be a Quiznos over 18 years ago; I remember coming here back then. After Quiznos shut down, Pita Pockets opened up; it’s a family owned business. They have a good selection of Middle Eastern favorites and even some Greek food; they make everything fresh. I love their Laffa Bread which they bake right in front of you, when you order. Tonight, I had the Chicken Shawarma in Laffa bread. Everything was fresh, tasty and well balanced. I got here as they were closing, and the guys were so nice to let me stay and eat at the restaurant. This is a Good Middle Eastern eatery, operated by nice people. I highly recommend it.

Food is great here! Just when I thought we didn’t have good gyros in the valley. Gyro plate is good. But I think next time I just won’t get the plate. It’s so much! I got laffa also… And yeah it’s filling. Husband got the beef plate. He said he wasn’t impressed with it and would rather have the one I ordered. I totally get it though since the beef plate didn’t look like the pics they posted. The beef pieces we got were tiny! For $ 10 you’ve got to be kidding me. It comes with a salad, rice and hummus which doesn’t justify for the price. More reasonable would be $ 8 – 9 if you’re gonna serve that little. Nonetheless the gyro plate was good! My husband and I shared it :)

Just walked into this place because I wanted to try something\someplace new with a friend of mine! The service is really great, the lady behind the counter immediately said we can try anything before we buy it. We asked to try the gyro meat and the chicken… Both were so good we couldn’t decide between the two and had a mixture of both in out laffa wrap. Highly suggest coming here for lunch. On top of everything, I got a Turkish espresso complimentary for my first time! Can’t complain at all about this place and will definitely be back!

Awesome service even better food! Let me just start by saying from the moment we walked in we felt like friends and family. The woman at the counter was so helpful reccomending food and she was so sweet. Her and the owner gave us samples and our experience was top priority. We loved the lemon chicken plate and the Laffa bread melts in your mouth. I can’t wait to go back. Amin was such an awesome guy and the food was amazing.

Family owned and operated! YUM! Located on Reseda in a huge shopping center with plenty of parking. Adjacent to Von’s Grocery store you will find Pita Pockets. I usually order their Lemon Chicken Laffa to go. I have no complaints about the flavors of the sandwich but i do have one request! Please chop up the chicken in the wraps instead of leaving huge long chunks! All other ingredients including the laffa bread are soft to bite on but you come across huge long pieces of chicken that you need to saw off with your teeth!(Not cute) Please: Chop it, Dice it, Pull it… Lol Thank you Note: It is madness here during lunch hour! Expect to wait and plan accordingly…

This place has the most delicious shawarma ever! It is family owned and my husband used to frequent this place often when he was a student many years ago while attending college at Cal State Northridge. CSUN students get 10% off with student ID) We always get an extra plate of food to take home so that we have leftovers for dinner. They have the most amazing pita chips and soft bread with yummy hummus. Can’t beat the friendly service, quality, and welcoming atmosphere. It can get busy at lunch time so be prepared to wait in line or call ahead if you are in a hurry. Plenty of parking. We will always be back.

One liner: More like a grab and go place Must try item: Shawarma laffa(its a giant) Good: Open kitchen. Caring staff, veg options are also there, not expensive Bad: more like a grab and go place, not a traditional cuisine Try their falafel, huge shawarma, gyros. Food is tasty, very caring staff. About me: Easily impressed, rarely frustrated. Not much of an ambience seeker, happy as long as the food is good. Eats all kinds of food except for crocodiles, leaches and McDonalds Relocated from CT to CA Goes everywhere to eat with my wife Devu

Phhhht. Great sandwiches but this is the second time they«ran out of pickles yesterday». How can anyone eat falafel or shawarma without a few pickles. This time the sob story was how it takes 4 – 5 days to make them, and how if they make too many at one time they get salty. So no pickles until your darn ready to make them? And after all these years of running a restaurant you can’t figure out how to keep stocked? What kind of hospitality is that? I’m done with you guys. Too bad; I was really looking forward to your food again.

DREAMSDOCOMETRUE I’ve always loved taking French fries and shoving it into pita bread with chicken, hummus, lettuce, rice, etc. I thought I was a genius for thinking of it. This is literally what I’ve been looking for lol Don’t try to eat it all at once, its huge. i regret even attempting to eat it all in one sitting. ITSSOSOGOOD and fresh. The man behind the counter(not the owner) was was so frickin sweet and wanted to make sure my first experience was good. I can’t wait to come back
