I didn’t like this place at all. I had the pleasure of eating at another place before eating at this place. Wow… what a difference. The soojookh+cheese at the other place is WAAAAAAY better than the concoction at this place. Fresh, light, crispy dough, filled with delicious soojookh and cheese, cooked with seasonings and brought out right from the hot oven(other place) versus bland, boring, two store-bought tortillas filled with cheese+soojookh microwaved and cut into four, limp pieces at SARIG. I also tried their(SARIG) boregs which were ok… nothing worthy of writing a letter to Nana about. The boregs were way better at the other place too(little, hot, fresh cheesy goodness) versus big, long, doughy, too much cheese(yah! not always a good thing!). Y’all need to eat at more than one place to compare food before handing out 5STARS. I’m done. Comfy B out. *drops da soojookh+cheese*

My daughter and I came here for the first time and we will definitely be back! The food here is fresh and delicious. We didn’t really know what everything was on the menu but the woman who worked there(she might have been the owner?) explained everything to us. I just pointed to some pics on Unilocal and she explained what they were. The breads and doughs were definitely handcrafted and this food is made with love. It’s a little café where you can also enjoy some Armenian coffee! If you are familiar with Armenian pizza then you will enjoy a freshly baked version of that plus other Armenian freshly made treats.

Best Lahmajun(Armenian pizza) in the area. I ordered 20 lahmajun for my coworkers to try. The owner was very nice and my order was promptly prepared and ready to go when I arrived. They also have a wide array of delicious desserts. Next time I will definitely be back to try some.

Went here about a week ago, or so. Haven’t had the chance to write a review till now. We ordered a Turkish coffee, cappuccino, and 3 beef, 3 potato piraski’s. Omg it was delicious. Especially the beef. My one yr old daughter being a fruit and veggie lover said mmmmm every time she ate them. We loved how relaxing and calm the atmosphere was. Plus amazing prices. We plan in coming back soon.

Oh wow! Flavor flavor flavor!!! The food here is delish! I tried their lahem b’ajin and it’s super tasty. You can’t taste the authenticity of this food. I also got some ponchik and hands down they were off the charts! I will definitely travel to northridge again to try their other foods. The owner Sako was friendly and very customer oriented. Kudos. I wish they had one closer to Pasadena.

I’ve been to Sarig’s a couple of times now. For the most part I’ve been pleased. The owner is friendly and helpful with the menu. The café is fairly small with 3 or 4 tables inside and 1 or 2 outside. The first time I was there I ordered a Sujuk panini and a Fattoush salad. The salad of lettuce cucumbers, tomatoes, and crispy thin bread strips was delicious. The tangy dressing was just right for the combination. The sandwich was very good. The Sujuk was topped with tomatoes and pickles and served on a homemade baguette. Today I ordered the Basturma panini. This sandwich wasn’t quite as good. The meat being rather tough and chewy in spots.

After reading the reviews here we decided to stop by for some baked goodies. The owner opened up the menu, we selected a bunch of items and put in our order, everything was made fresh, and was brought up to our table pretty quick, The place is very clean, the service is friendly, and everything we ordered tasted great! Definitely lived up to our expectations, and I’m sure we’ll be back again.

I saw the place on Unilocal and decided to check it out! REALLY friendly employees and the food is amazing. I got Saj, Zataar with cheese and some ponchik for dessert. Absolutely delicious. Tbh I could eat those ponchiks all day, and I’d probably turn into one.

Amazing food! Everyone was extremely friendly here and they spent time to explain the menu to us since it was our first time here. The prices were fantastic and we ended up eating and then ordering a bunch of extra food to go because it was so good. Sako was great and talked to us at our table for a bit which added a personal feel to the whole dining experience. But most importantly the food is seriously legit! I’ll post some pictures because I don’t want to butcher the names of the items we tried but my gf and I were completely satisfied and we only spent $ 12. We ultimately spent more because we got a bunch of food to go but I can’t recommend coming here any more. Even with all the good Unilocal reviews it exceeded my expectations.

This little bakery and café is located a few blocks away from my home and is truly a treasure. The menu items are very affordable and tasty! Being 100% Armenian, I have two enjoyed my grandmother’s cuisine for most of my life, and can truly attest to the quality at Sarig’s café. Upon my visit, I tried the Cheese Boreg, Zaatar with red pepper paste, and Aintab Lahem Bajin(Lahmajun). All of the items were exceptional. If you are looking for good Armenian /middle eastern cuisine, make sure to stop by and check this place out!

Went here to use coupon and was craving Mediterranean food. Unfortunately the coupon we had is giving problems of not showing credit. Anyhow, wanted to try this place regardless. Ordered the falafel served on saj bread. Owner is very nice and hospitable. Met the owner’s parents also and theyre very nice people. I ordered the falafel which is very tasty and juicy! The vegetables and meat inside is not greasy and felt healthy eating it. Very big servings which I split with my wife and we tried their Armenian coffee, it is very strong which will probably keep us up late at night, I like my coffee strong anyhow. It’s not bitter in my opinion. will definitely try their pizzas next.
