Was customers for more than 5years this place but not anymore. Their soon tofu tasted differently(had bad chemical substance odder and taste) today so I asked nicely for exchange and the cook took my returned soon tofu and placed right back to the oven and start to reboil again adding other ingredients so I said I want new soup not my old one again. Why I even bother to return it if I will get my same one. After my complaint they agree to get me a new one. But the new one tasted same as just returned one so I didn’t bother to touch it. So I told them I have been their customer for more than 5years and today tofu soup really taste different. Their response to my comment was«our cook has been working with us more than 20years» Today is my last visit to this place. Now both my wife and I have upset stomach and not feeling well.

Came twice for the soon tofu and twice for the spicy beef stew. Not the best, not the worst. The spicy beef stew has a large portion size. The soon tofu, not so much. I’d say the soon tofu is overpriced, but still decent food for a food court. You might want to look around, there are other options in the food court that give you better bang for your buck.

Ended up here randomly … Turned out to be such a great find! It’s a casual looking spot but the food is amazing. I got the vegi bibimbap and the vegi pajun… Both very amazing dishes. I was so full at the end but I couldn’t stop eating.

I normally order from the other eateries in the Galleria, but yesterday I had a hankering for some spicy squid and soon dubu. This was probably my second time ordering something from this place. After the first bite, I was reminded that I had ordered from this place previously and didn’t think it was great. The soondubu was bland. Aside from the spicy flavors, the broth itself seemed to be just water. A bunch of seafood was dumped in, but didn’t do anything to the flavor of the soondubu. The ojinga(squid) came out piping hot, but once it cooled down and you could taste the flavor of the dish, it seemed like kochujang was just smeared on it with nothing else(lacking even the sesame oil flavor that most korean dishes have). It was all just okay. The lower rating however, was due to the fact that I spent all night and this morning in front of the toilet. Yep. Food poisoning. The rest of my family ordered from the other eateries and they were fine. I, on the other hand, was not pleased to have to re-taste my dinner again. I don’t like giving one-star ratings. I hope my case was an isolated incident. These ahjummas need to make a living.

Love this place. $ 7 for a full bibim bap dinner, no meat for me. Excellent vegetarian alternative.

they probably have the highest prices compared to the other restaurants inside the galleria, but the portions are big and delicious. I have been addicted to order #2, which i thought was just meat, but to my surprised includes miso soup, steam rice, kimchee, radish, and a small fish. I really want to try their kimchi soup and their spicy beef soup, but #2 is so delicious and tempting to skip in order to try the soups, lol. come here with a big appetite, and expect no disappointment.

Their spicy beef soup with glass noodles is so good! Perfect for a cold day(which we have been deprived from as of late). I haven’t tried any of their other dishes yet so my review is only based on the one item I’ve had on several occasions. By observation, they seem to have the biggest space of the 5 restaurants to choose from in the food court(it’s the only one in back). Everything looks clean and kept organized which is always a plus in my book! Prices are fairly cheap and you get a really good portion. Enough to be completely stuffed and then some. Doubt you’ll ever get tired of their items either since they seem to offer a good variety of dishes. Give it a try!

Everytime I go grocery shopping at galleria, I find myself at Seoul tofu. Their soon dubu /galbi combo never disappoints. The side dishes aren’t always the best, but no biggy. The ladies that work there are always super sweet as well.

For Korean food in a grocery store food court, it’s pretty decent. I got the spicy beef noodle soup with clear noodles. The portion was good, lots of shredded beef, glass noodles, egg and green onions. It came with a side of rice, a small fried fish, fish cake, kim Chee and preserved radish. Everything was $ 8.00, when I’m in the area again I want to try the spicy tofu.

Like soondubu? How about bulgogi, spicy soondubu for under $ 15? If you need a quick place to eat for lunch, dinner, try this place. If you need a place to eat, try this place. You can also get kalbi, spicy pork, bibimbap all for a great deal!

Very solid option for soon dubu in the SF valley. Combos are a great deal(stew + grilled meat/fish). My dad likes the haejongchon soup — try it if you like soondae(blood sausage). Seok-kuh soon dubu is a combo or beef and seafood flavor and it’s my fav.

(written via mobile 9-14-2012) Excellent hot stone bibimbap! They also serve a cold version that was OK. The tofu stew that came with the cold bibimbap was fishy. Not«there’s a lot of seafood» fishy. It had the aroma of guys on the pier sitting next to their ice chests with their lines in the water. I ate about half to give it a chance, but then just took the tofu out and moved the bowl downwind. The sides were delicious! I loved their kimchee. Full of flavor but not so hot that it blisters your mouth. There was also a small fish with the sides that was tasty, but I would have preferred it to be crispy. If you’re going to bread and fry it, I don’t want mushy fish. Kind of weird. I’d go back again, but will avoid the tofu stew.

Tried their tofu/kalbi combo. It was about $ 14 total. The tofu soup was a bit on the bland side. The ribs were pretty good though, very tender and had good flavor. BCD Tofu House is definitely still better.

Considering how popular this food court was during my visit, I’m surprised no one has reviewed this business yet. They might be new or could have undergone a name change, but I’m not really sure. I was in the area and my friends suggested we come to the Galleria food court for some of the best Korean food in the valley. I haven’t had a good bowl of bibimbap in ages, so I was really excited. Seoul Tofu House stood out with the best looking stone bowl bibimbap out of all the stands, so I went with them. Sadly, I wasn’t that impressed. The bowl had your typical concoction of rice, mushrooms, zucchini, sprouts, cucumber, egg, seaweed, and beef. The rice was too dry, even though I mixed everything as soon as I got it. I added some of their spicy sauce, but it still didn’t do the trick. I usually get a plum/hoison type of sauce at other places that really does the trick, but they didn’t have it here. Also, it was heavily lacking in the meat department. At times, I felt like I was eating veggie bibimbap. Overall, it was just OK. Not the worst, but surely not the best I’ve ever had. Might come back to them for another dish. Gotta give them props for presentation and side dishes though.

I found this place after searching all over the Valley for the best Soon Tofu and finally being told about it by a Korean woman whose son was in my son’s gymnastics class. Its tucked away in the food court at the giant Galleria Korean grocery store. All of the restaurants in the food court at the Galleria are fantastic, each having its own specialty, such as Bibimbap or Soon Tofu or noodles but all are excellent. The ambiance is strictly food court, bright lights, noisy, etc. But its cheap, convenient and great for people watching or you can get food to go.
