Allen & Palmer True Value

I just can’t say enough good about the service that has been provided to us by this «last of the way it was done before the big box, and even most of the small boxes» !! Their business model is what made them and most likely keeps them going!

A truly one stop shop for everything hardware, plumbing, or heating.
They offer full plumbing service from new install to repair to summer camp maintenance.
They are a typical home town style True Value hardware. People many times come in to buy hardware or plumbing supplies — but most often they are looking for advice, answers, and help. Its that typical deal where most of America thinks they can do themselves only to find out that they are not entirely sure how to finish said project and need to ask some questions.
Allen and Palmer has a variety of employees that are experts on in home problems and answering questions. They also have several guys on staff that are Master level plumbers. James Decker works on the plumbing crew there and seems to know his way around anything mechanical, plumbing, heating, etc…
There is undoubtedly a bit of mark up on items purchased here. This is because they have to ship things so far. And indeed it would cost you more than the difference to drive to somewhere more urban to purchase the same items.
I would highly recommend this location for almost anything you might need in the Northville — Sacandaga Lake area.
