Location, location, location. It’s just a nice spot to pull in and out of on a crap weather winter night. They had great choices in fresh produce and some ‘manager deals’ that helped me save some money on things like carrots, bags of lettuce blends, etc. Lots of good wine and bread/cheese deals too — and overall, a store that seems to be improving in selection and service.

I guess«corporate» forced them to improve. The newly purchased stores, like the on in Commerce, are way better. They are still pretty sloppy, but better from where they used to be. Don’t expect great super service. DON’T drive a new vehicle into their lot. The lot slopes and the carts are running all over the place. Don’t worry though, the veggies appear fresh!. but not friendly.

It’s where I usually shop, a little higher priced than Meijer but so much easier to get in and out of and the store always looks clean. The deli section is nice but they are, in my opinion, understaffed in this department. They have a lot of sales and special prices but you must check the dates on the items you buy, especially in the salad dressing isle, where I regularly find out dated items. Just last month I picked up a jar of sandwich spread that had expired over a YEAR ago! The produce usually looks fresh, the floral department is very nice, and they have a pretty good wine and alcohol department. The people who work in the pharmacy are pleasant and most of the cashiers are too, but I am tired of having them tell me about my fuel points and their survey each time I check out. The selection in the frozen food section is large, as compared to some other local stores, but I find that they often run out of sale items. My biggest complaint, and it may be a pet peeve, are the spring loaded devices that tightly hold the bacon and other processed meats. People want to look at the bacon they are buying and these devices make it very hard to get the bacon out and pretty much impossible to replace the packages that are not wanted. So, all in all, it is a pretty good store that could be even better with a few tweaks.

I go here about twice a week. The store is clean. I do think they need more help in the deli dept. They are slow movers, but they are very, very helpful. Big fan of the store. There is one or two check out Gals that talk too much to the Customers. I was two lanes away after I checked out and she was still gabbing, Otherwise. GREATSTORE!

This is my first choice grocery store in the area. Kroger has done a great job recently of adding more organic and natural products to their store, including meats — so I’ve started to shop here again! I find that most of their produce is in good shape, and I’ve never found the store to be dirty or disorganized at any time of the day. If you go on their website you can also load digital coupons to your Kroger Plus card and save even more moola!

I really like this Kroger! The staff here is so great. Yesterday I was shopping just as the shipment came in.(which is not the best time to shop as it gets really crowded with all the new boxes and such) … well it did have one perk — I was looking at the eggs and one man unloading a box said– here let me give you these fresh eggs that last about 2 weeks longer then the ones your holding! I LOVED that he helped me in that way– seeing as you know grocery stores want to sell their goods that have the nearest expiration date — otherwise they might not get sold and that is money not made. Very thoughtful staff every time I’ve been there. I try to eat all organic food and was shocked by what a great selection they have here. I’m only left wanting a few things that I need to go elsewhere for and that is organic deli meat. This is really important to me– get organic deli meat and this place is near perfect!!! Some organic items they carry but they don’t have as wide a variety as other stores like Whole Foods– but still they carry it so that is great! I think this is one of the best selections of natural foods at a «normal» grocery store I have seen. Lastly one of thee greatest things about Kroger is the Kroger Plus card!!! Wow this has only been my 2nd time shopping at Kroger using the plus card and I’ve already saved almost 20 dollars… and both times I shopped the bill was less than $ 100 so that is some MAJOR savings!!! You can also use your plus card to save MAJOR money on fuel at Shell stations — you can save anywhere from 10 cents — 90 cents off a gallon I believe … I’m not positive the details but it is a great way to save on gas. Quality store — even for all you whole food, natural, organic, gluten-free, dairy-free yadda yadda yadda eaters like me!

This is my favorite Kroger for two reasons: It’s VERY convenient to my home; Two: My favorite Chase branch is housed here. I have not ever had a problem with locating items, or items not being marked that are on sale. And, if we are comparing this CHAIN to any other store, Kroger is by far my choice over Hillers! :)

See, I do like this store. Maybe it is me, but I actually do like the people here and find the employees at Hillers crabby at best. It’s funny how opinions differ! This Kroger has a pretty open layout with a nice produce and health food section. They have a fresh food area with prepared dishes and rotisserie chickens, at which they have a section set up with tables and chairs where you can. eat? I do not see myself sitting down to enjoy a meal in my local supermarket any time soon, but hey, its the thought that counts I suppose. Prices are reasonable, especially when combined with their 10 for $ 10 deals and/or store or manufacturers coupons. This Kroger has plenty of check out options, a floral and greeting card section, western union, a bank, alcohol and liquor for sale, a redbox movie kiosk, pharmacy and water service(the big water jugs for watercoolers).

Sales items are often not marked Staff are not all that pleasant Store could be set up better Sales items are not always in stock even on the first day of sale Not the best selection either. Better places to go in the area, Hillers — a mile south down Haggerty or Meijer 2 miles north on Haggerty are better then this Kroger.

First off, allow the Haggerty Man to state that Kroger is far better than that which Farmer Jack had become. Not only has the décor been upscaled, but the produce as well. Still, the cashiers aren’t as pleasant as Hiller’s and the selection not as diverse. Hiller’s just seems to make the right choices, like knowing when to stop selling sushi.(See review.) This Kroger does carry liquor, which is a plus. And their bottle return is more spacious than some.
