I pretty much found it by accident walking down the street. I was visiting in Michigan for a few weeks and wanted to get an adjustment so I called them up and scheduled a consultation. I’ve been to a couple other chiropractors, and one of my best friends is a chiropractor, so I was pretty sure what to look for.
Dr. Abbott far exceeded my expectations. Of all the chiropractors that I’ve been to, including my friend, he spent the most time with me trying to understand my ailments and my overall physical conditions. Not only did he ask a lot of questions of me, he also explained everything that he did and why he was doing it. He also took a number of X-​Rays of my spine and neck to get an understanding for what he couldn’t see. All in all he spent about an hour with me. That’s a significant amont of time, even for a first assessment, especially when you consider the fact that I had told him up front that I would only be his patient for a couple of weeks before heading back to California
Another thing that impressed me was how he handled the misunderstanding that occurred with my insurance. In short, my insurance was supposed to pay for the consultation but half way thru the consultation we found out that they weren’t gonna cover it and I was stuck with the $ 200 in fees that I had incurred already. Dr. Abbott was very understanding of my situation and agreed to finish the consultation and provide an adjustment at no additional cost. He even re-​did a couple of X-​Rays that did not come out right.
If you’re looking for a chiropractor that really careas about your overall well being, and won’t just give you the standard treatment, look no further. If you’re not convinced by what I’m saying just go in for one consultation.
