Had a great time bottling wine for a bachelor party. Wine is delicious, Mark was very kind, helpful and entertaining. Highly recommended!

Fun way to spend an afternoon. Not sure the wine is really any better than the ones we buy in the store but a nice way for us to commemorate our 10 year anniversary. Like that it has no sulfates and look forward to the bottling and eventual tasting of out wine. It’s not a custom blend but we are able to select a custom label so that is also special.

If you want a unique wine experience, and you tend to buy the same kind of wine all of the time, you need to include this on your To-Do list. You come into the shop and taste the many different types of wine. If there is one that you like, you buy a batch of it(usually 30 bottles) and they make it for you. The owner, Mark, does an excellent job at teaching you about the wine and what makes each varietal unique. After you purchase the wine, the hardest part is waiting for the phone call notifying you that your wine is ready. When it is time to pick it up, Mark teaches you how to bottle, cork, and put the labels on your wine. The wine tasting party and the wine bottling party was so much fun and educational. If you do this with a lot of people, you can all exchange bottles so that you have a variety of wines to enjoy at home.

We had a big group go and do the wine tasting back in November and yesterday we did the bottling and pick up of our wine we ordered. I had such a fun time for both events! We even ordered more wine! I can’t wait to go back and pick it up! Marc the owner is very fun and funny! Anyone that thinks otherwise probably has a personality of a wet mop! I defiantly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time and try something different!

What a wonderful experience! We had a large group for the original tasting… the evening was fantastic. We were guided by the owner, Mark, through a wine tasting with numerous varietals. He taught us how to taste the wine, and educated us about the nuances of each of the wines we tasted. He did this with plenty of levity, so this was not some boring or stuffy experience at all… and his personable character and charm makes the experience welcoming and fun, whether you are well versed in wine or a newbie to tasting like I was. We made our selections, and came back about 2 months later to bottle. It’s worth noting here that the quality of wine you get with Vine 2 Wine is an exceptional value. The bottling experience itself is its own fun party! We had another great time, again, escorted through the process by Mark. All in all, I can’t speak highly enough of this unique experience. If you are looking for a fun GNO, or a great group party… do yourself a favor and visit Vine 2 Wine!

Mark the owner is eccentric and not customer orientated at all. He has been difficult to work with and seems to know absolutely nothing about wine, other than that you can get drunk from it. Overall the experience was so terrible that we declined to even pick up our bottled wine because we didn’t want to go back there.

I’ve been visiting Vine 2 Wine for two years now and plan on returning for many years to come. My first wine bottling started as a birthday gift following a recommendation from my boss. Since then I’ve been back three times to bottle new wine with a fourth bottling scheduled in a few weeks. The process is fun and simple and always begins with store-owner Mark’s custom greeting(I won’t spoil it here). You or your group will be presented with samples of available varietals and blends along with some crackers to cleanse the pallet between tastings. Keep in mind you are tasting extremely young wine at this point which is just starting to show it’s potential body and texture. Following your preferred selection(we like to guess each varietal and keep a running ranking) Mark takes over the heavy lifting and notifies you 8 – 10 weeks later when it’s ready for bottling. If you enjoy wine tasting, bottling is a unique experience unto itself. You may bring your own cleaned bottles from home or purchase new wine bottles if necessary. Standard labels are available for each varietal or you can print your own. Bottling involves pumping wine through an aerator into each 750ml bottle, using a special press to apply the cork, sealing the cork topper over a tea kettle and affixing a label to the cleaned bottle surface. And of course you are sampling your current wine or future purchases the entire time. Your wine must stay vertical for a week after bottling before laying flat. I recommend storing your wine for 3 – 6 months before opening the first bottle and from that point opening a new bottle every few weeks to taste the difference in the aging process over the following 6 – 18 months. What started as a gift to myself has grown into a quarterly hobby for a small group of my wine loving friends. We start the tasting process fresh after each bottling and use the downtime to come up with new wine label designs and enjoy previous purchases. I hope your visits to Vine 2 Wine turn out as well as mine!

My husband and I went to Vine 2 Wine for our anniversary. It was kind of a last minute thing. We researched everything online. The web site said you didn’t have to make reservations, so we gave ourselves plenty of time to enjoy the experience. We drove all the way out there(40 min or so) only to find that the store was closed for a week. So my question is why was this info not on the web site? When we emailed the establishment about what had happened, we got a rather sarcastic almost rude message about why we didn’t call first. He stated that he was a small business and needed to take time off from time to time. OK, but again why not post it on the web site. So venture at your own risk, make sure you call ahead, even though their site says you don’t need a reservation. Any small business that leaves me a message like the one I got will not get my business not matter how fun it may sound.
