I have stayed here before it was much better not very clean and the restaurant got worse. too bad nice location

Hotel rooms are fine. I’ve stayed here many times for work. Only disappointment was while being checked in. Waited about 10 mins. Kept calling out but music in lobby was very loud. I could see manager down the hallway but he couldn’t hear me. I called the hotel but because of the music he couldn’t hear the phone ringing. Finally I yelled between songs he looked around and told me to wait a minute. I asked on top of the 10 I have of the 10 mins I had already been waiting? Check in went fast and didn’t bother to mention Internet info or anything else

Not many hotel options in Norton. Rooms were clean. Cable TV and AC worked well. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was below average. I wish they offered breakfast in the AM, but otherwise, a nice stay.

Hotel is ok. I visited this hotel 2 times in the past couple of months and had a so so experience. First time I went it was not the greatest stay in the world. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff were friendly.
First off, my room looked into the pool, which was a huge bummer. I don’t need a world class view but my view was awful.
I visited the restaurant one night to grab a beer and the two beers I had were both flat and tasted funny. They definitely need to clean the lines and figure out why the beers don’t taste right. If you’re going to get a beer, do not get one on draft.
Location is good — it’s within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and right beside a CVS.
On my last day, I was walking out after checking out and was carrying all of my stuff. When walking out, I slipped and fell on the tile. I had no clue the floor was wet, as the two wet floor signs were on carpeted areas behind a couch in front of the elevators and in front of the check in desk. I was fine — wasn’t hurt other than a bruise.
My second visit was much, much better. Although they still had the wet floor signs in the same place. Maybe they should look into putting them in the middle of the floor so people can see it better.
Minus all of that, I would go to this hotel again. There’s no other hotel that’s even in the same league as this hotel within probably an hour and a half. Judging off the exteriors of all the other hotels in the area, they all look like complete dumps.

Great place to stop and stay while traveling. Clean friendly staff, good resturant on fifth floor.

The Inn was super clean, with wifi and heated pool. The beds slept well. Staff was very kind. My only complaint would be the noise from outside was pretty loud. I was woke up several times by horns blowing, an argument across the street, people talking loudly walking down the sidewalk. The windows don’t seal so you can hear everything going on outside.

Super clean, great atmosphere, beautiful mountain setting. I kept looking for Aunt Bea but found her younger, former self in the restaurant, (see photo of waitress).
Lots of friendly, fresh scrubbed, eager, faces. This is Mayberry with Internet access.
