Honey Dew Donuts & Sandwiches

By far my favorite Honey Dew location! Clean, extremely friendly, and quick. I prefer Honey Dew over DD based on coffee and food and this is the best location!

When coming to this location I usually dine in. I miss the previous 1950s style building interior which seemed to have a more open, spacious and brighter dining area. If memory serves right even there were even fully cushioned booths. The coffee is always fine but to me the cake like doughnuts always seem too dark color and smaller sized than the Honey Dew products from years back. My understanding is some locations no longer fully make the doughnuts at their shop but bake frozen premade ones. I’m not sure what they do here but other Honey Dews sell similar looking baked goods. Because the baked good don’t look appealing to me I usually just have coffee at this location or a muffin if I am hungry. The staff has never been rude but neither overtly cheerful. The dining area seems dark but always clean. The restroom looked dingy and worn on my last few visits.

I love Honey Dew but today with storm coming unfortunately they weren’t prepared at 5am. All they had were blueberry muffins & 1 kind of donut. I bought the blueberry muffins that I didn’t want & coffee and proceeded to DD that I don’t like to purchase donuts for the storm for my family. I had my heart set on lemon and bavarian crème donuts from honey dew & made the 5am pilgrimage there to purchase them. Very disappointed to say the least.

Get the iced mocha… it’ll change your life expectancy.

They have fat free half and half!!! Love it in my iced coffee. I wish more places offered this. For some of us this is a big deal, lolol.
