I have came to magic city drive inn almost every weekend since the beginning of summer and I will NOT be returning! I will be taking my business else where! I was asked to move my car 3 times and I did and on the third time moving I told the employee that I moved three times already. He said my car was not close enough to the pole with the speaker. I said nicely that my car is so close to the pole I cannot get out of the car. This employee responded irately toward me and said that the police will be called to escort me out of here. I was very uncomfortable and embarrassed that this man was yelling at me in my car for everyone around me to hear after I did what was asked of me THREE times.

Fun place prices are a bit ridiculous but its still fun the food is gross but the fact that u can still go to these is like walking thru a time machine and its fun

This place is pretty trashy. The staff is rude and uptight, the projector frequently malfunctions, and the bathrooms are filthy disgusting. The concession stand is also pretty dirty. Let’s not even go into how rude the other customers are. Plus, the theater is located on a marshy flood plane, so the mosquitoes are crazy bad. Pretty much, if you don’t plan on actually watching the movie, this place is great. If you want to get use out of your money, go to an indoor theater.

Arrived an hour early, and to start with they opened the booth about 15 minutes late. We then got a good spot and I went to the restroom to put on an extra layer of clothes as it was getting chilly. I barely had enough room in the stall to pull on sweatpants. My boyfriend and I then ordered pizza at the concession. The wait was half an hour, which we didn’t mind, but when we got the pizza it seemed like it may have been sitting, the size was not worth the amount we paid for it, and it was burned. The first movie itself was not bad but was not the movie we had came to see. We were one of three cars at that movie screen, and the other two cars left after the movie ended but these cars had paid for both movies at admission. Once the movie was over an employee of the theater came to our car and asked if we were staying for the second movie. We intended to stay as that was the movie we really wanted to see and that was the only drive in in the area playing this movie. Once we told the employee that we did intend on staying he seemed upset, almost as if he had already told the people in the movie booth what to do, and said that under the pretense of economic reasons, they were no longer playing the second movie yet they are playing it throughout the weekend and have us two valchures for a free movie night at the drive in and walked away without apologizing for canceling our movie. We are not sure if we will be returning. My recommendation if you are looking for a drive in would be the Midway Drive In in Revenna. They have better sound quality and appear to take better care of their facility. Hope this review is helpful!
