Warning to anyone wanting to use this flower shop — Call Henry’s Flower Shop or Colonial. I used Betschman’s for 13 years for my mother’s Mother’s Day and Birthday gifts — I live out of State(born and raised in Norwalk). Problem was I called TWO days before I needed arrangement delivered — paid for it, provided both my phone number and my mother’s, and the arrangement was NOT delivered. Quite embarrassing to me! When I called, the manager couldn’t comprehend my aggravation, telling me that they left ONE message on my mother’s phone(which my mother states she has NO message) and since she didn’t call them back, no arrangement was delivered. UNACCEPTABLE! I’ve personally never received flowers where someone had to call me first before delivery — I always got the«surprise delivery», but I’ve been«informed» by the manager that, «maybe that’s how they do it down south(Florida), but not up north» — is she kidding me? I tried numerous times to see if she would try to make this«wrong» right, but no offer was ever made, and I stayed on the phone over and over explaining why it was unacceptable. Customers are not priority at this company! They should have called me and not doing so, is unacceptable — my mother was home the whole time, and never left! Again, embarrassing! Manager tells me they are too busy to keep calling — again, customer service is horrible. I expect more from a florist than excuses. Manager needs to learn how to get off of the defense, and satisfy her customers. I would have been fine with an offer of «let me get these delivered right away» with a discount for their error — but it never came. They have lost a long-standing 13 year customer over this — again, go somewhere else!
