25 years of dealing with the guy, Dean Pak is the most honest mechanic you’ll ever meet. I don’t mind 20-​mile drive for an oil change. 5-​star service for sure!!!

Went without an appointment around 4:30pm for an oil change. Tyler was very kind and service was done quick and very friendly. He found some other issues and informed me that on the next oil change those were due.
Price was very fair and service was great .
Will be coming back.

When I got my last oil change, Mr. Dean noticed an odor and found that my radiator was leaking. He said I would have to leave it overnight in order for it get replaced. The repairs were completed earlier than expected, the car is working great! Dean’s Auto is the best!

One of the rare mechanics I would trust. He really helped me out with some tires. On top of the saving he showed me I can also get an additional $ 80 rebate on the tires I just purchase. I would come back when I need more things done for my vehicle.

Have taken my car here twice for tire repair /​plugs. I can tell he takes pride in his craft and doesn’t look to shortchange his customers. $ 10 for a nail pull and repair with pressure top off and inspection for all 4 tires is too cheap in my opinion. They’ve got my business when I look to replace my tires.

This guys knows absolutely NOTHING about cars. I’ve been here about 5 times over the years and he was not able to diagnosed a single problem that I’ve had. I’m so mind boggled how he’s still in business. A total hack. I wouldn’t even get an oil change here. He’ll leave the cap off and blow up the engine.

I always come here for all my repairs and installations. Dean is an honest mechanic and that’s something hard to find in this line of work. Once I noticed a leak of transmission fluid and took it into Dean’s to have it checked. His diagnosis was I had a bad seal. While he couldn’t repair it he did point me in the direction of very good mechanics nearby that would. He did not even charge me a diagnosis fee! Very good mechanic, five out of five stars, I don’t know where I would find a mechanic as good as him if ever I moved out of the Norwalk area.

Love Dean, my whole family goes to his shop for all our car troubles and needs. Great price and great service, if you need a reliable car shop in your life this is the place to go.

Dean and his crew has helped me, and my friend, Daniel Pappagalo, for many years. They are the best. The shop is full of friendly and trust worthy people. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Mr. Dean has also been my family’s mechanic for … ever. Clientele is 99.9% Korean here, but the variety of cars I see here is unbelievable. From middle aged ajushees bringing in their souped up WRX STi’s, lifted Ford Excursions, Mini Coopers, and of course the white work van every Korean business owner depends on, to ajummas who don’t even know how many cylinders, turbos, tires, or bumpers their AMGs have on them. They just know their car costs a lot, and that Dean can fix them cheaper than the dealer (which is why they bought a luxury car in the first place).
He is SUPER honest and hardworking, and so is Jose. He wants you to be safe and happy with your car. Usually he’s not too busy, or he maybe he’s just hooking me up, and I’m in and out of there with anything.
He does smog, oil changes, tires, check engine light, batteries, everything but body work.
It’s a little weird, you can’t go in the front door. Drive in the gate, poke your front bumper into the garage, and someone should come greet you!

My family has been coming to Dean for years to get all our cars serviced, and now I come here regularly to get my car serviced. We live almost 45minutes away, but we make it a point to drive out here for any work that needs to be done to my car because Dean is the most honest and reasonable car mechanic we’ve ever dealt with. His technician, Jose, is great too and knows what he’s doing. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car.
I’ve never walked out of here thinking that I was over charged for anything that was done to my car. Dean will never recommend something for your car unless it is necessary. For example, I’m here for a timing belt replacement on my car today — most places will tell you it’s a good idea to change the water pump at the same time to make a few bucks off of you, but Dean told me most V6 engines like mine don’t need to have it changed with the timing belt. He ran a full diagnostic on the pump anyways just to make sure all the seals/​belts were in good shape AND he talked me out of getting new brake pads today because I still have some life on them (he told me to buy a set online since it’s cheaper and he’d install them for me during my next oil change)… how many mechanics do you know that will talk you out of spending money at their garage like that?
Try to come early if you don’t want to wait long, it gets busy in the afternoons.
Also, if you’re stranded here for a few hours while your car gets fixed, their waiting room has WiFi (I put a note card on the shelf next to the coffee maker in the room with the TV with the network ID and password) so bring your iPhone/​laptop! I think there’s a Boba joint around the corner and a few fast food joints across the street if you’re feeling hungry.
