Diamond Corner Deli

Although we live closer to the old location we rarely went there. Too crowded and a too small parking lot. The new location has solved both of these problems. DD has become our go to spot for a casual, inexpensive meal. Good omelets, hamburgers & gyros, Greek salad etc.

Great deli. I must admit I am a regular and was upset when they moved from around the corner. However, their new location is even better. Pizza in wood burning stove is much tastier.
Do not miss their greek salad or breakfast sandwich.

I like the space inside, lots of seating. Ordered a sandwich and a salad and sat down. 20 minutes later it came, extremely long time when you expect a quick meal at a deli. They also brought a basket of bread with the food. Would have been nice to have gotten that while we were sitting and starving for 20 mins. I’d give it a second shot, hope the long wait was just a fluke.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Absolutely disgusting. One of the most unsanitary places I have ever been to.
The gentleman in front of me and I both ordered soup. His order was to stay while my order was to go. In picking up his food and soup, he grabbed utensils and put the spoon in his mouth. Once at the table, he opens his soup, stirs it with the spoon that was just in his mouth, and realizes he has the wrong soup. Coming to the conclusion that they switched soups, they take the soup out of my bag and give it to the gentleman.
Then they take his soup, put a kid on it and try to put it in my bag!
They were shocked when I said I didn’t want the soup.
I’ve eaten at this deli for years. I can only imagine the nasty things I’ve consumed there. I will never eat there again!

If you want to stand around like an Asshole while the regulars get treated with priority you should come here. This new theory or serving people called a «line» is much more effective then the shit system implemented at this place. Stand in a circle with people trying to push you out of the way to get coffee as you try to order a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich sucked anyway so I threw it up in the air and let it fall on the nearest regular.

This place has decent food and pizza, but their service can be extremely poor. I ordered a pizza and when I got the bill, they had overcharged me and were charging higher prices than what the menu advertised. Their website prices are all incorrect as well. When I inquired about the pricing difference, the staff member did not apologize and still tried to charge me the overpriced amount. In addition, when I opened the pizza, the toppings were only spread on one side of the pizza, and the bottom was burnt. I am bummed by their lack of customer service and the fact that they are charging more only to hope that no one notices. Eater… beware!

This place is clean and the food is good. Many choices. Salads, Pizza, Sandwiches, and full Meals. Great selection

Can’t get much better than this for a Deli in Norwalk. Great sandwiches, good sized and reasonably priced. Especially recommend the Italian Combo and the Philly Cheese steak, which, while not «authentic» strictly speaking is VERY tasty. They are part of the pizza place next door, and WILL deliver.

Amazing little place. Their sandwiches and hot foods are amazing and reasonably priced. Cash only place.

Diamond has some of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Super friendly staff, almost always packed with people. Not too much seating. Sandwiches are just okay but the hot food is tasty.
