Great place for a wedding! Hazel is amazing and really makes your wedding less stressful! Had such a great experience and our guests loved the wedding! Loved that hotel rooms where attached and everyone could walk back to their room!

I had such a great time at this conference center! My company had their yearly meeting here, it was the first for me but they’ve been coming here for several years. My room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable! The grounds were so peaceful, I heard this place used to be a monastery and it had a very tranquil vibe. The food was way better than any banquet I’ve ever had. I usually find banquet buffets to be bland and boring, but that is not the case here! So many tasty, unique choices. Tons of vegetarian items. I’m not a vegetarian, but since I don’t eat red meat or pork sometimes that’s the way I go. Usually vegetarians get stuck with pasta or carbs and dairy. They had tons of choices using squash, quinoa, you name it! So good, I want the recipes! Every time our meetings would break we would have delicious, fresh things to eat and drink. The staff was super friendly and staying here was a total delight! Already looking forward to next year’s meeting!

Absolutely lovely! My sister got married here yesterday and the entire experience was, of course, wonderful. The venue itself is average — a conference center and hotel — but the 66 acre grounds are stunning. I actually discovered this place YEARS ago when I lived in Norwalk — my best friend and I took a walk around the grounds to the pond. The staff were as attentive as could be and the spacious bridal suite was the perfect place to get ready while sipping mimosas and bustling around with the makeup artist, hair stylists and other bridesmaids. Hazel, the wedding coordinator, had us all organized on time, which was extremely helpful. The room I got for the night was fine, average — nothing too crazy but a good deal for $ 159. After the wedding we all went to the bar upstairs to hang out, and while the bartender was nice, the liquor selection was pretty pathetic. Must give them props for having ALL local CT beers though.

I learned about this hotel through FEMA after Sandy hit my area hard! I was housed here temporarily for about a week because my area had been flooded and had no electricity in the area as well as other necessary services. The hotel it self was comfortable and quiet but very far out in Norwalk. If you are looking for something close to malls or other attractions in the area this would not be the hotel to pick. The rooms are spacious but average and housekeeping is pretty thorough. However, my only issue with this hotel was there lack of professionalism and respect to me as a customer. Although, my room was financially covered by FEMA I found it very disrespectful and rude that they would note the word«transient» on my bill as if I was homeless person they donated a nights stay to. When I contacted the company with my concern there was little they could say but Ooops! that actually printed on your bill! They offered no apology or explaination. As a person who loves to travel I had been looking into there other locations for trips I might take in the future until I saw that bill! No thank you.
