Kim Feng is by far the worst«restaurant» I had a deliver diner. The food was disgusting so I asked them to come pick it up and return my money. I was very nice I said it is just not what my family is accustom to. When the delivery man came to pick up the food he was extremely rude angry that I did not like to food. I told him to not talk to me like that and to get off of my property. I called the restaurant and advised them of how rude and nasty this guy was. She said well OK you no order from here no more. They should be shut down. No restaurant should be able to serve the public with such an unprofessional culture.

Delivery took an hour. Food was cold, and not great. Rude delivery man. Bad first impression! We will not be eating from here again.

The only comparative Norwalk area experience I have was Li Brothers over in Goodwives Shopping Center, which is now closed, and I sorely miss. This place is take out only, even though they do actually have what might pass for a table and chairs. Very dirty overall, filthy actually, so my initial feeling was not that good. Food was passable at best. Generals Chicken was neither fresh, crispy nor spicy, but it also was not fatty, so I guess it was a mixed bag. Chow Fun was also nothing to write home about. Noodles were big, but soggy as were the vegetables in both dishes. Gravy was OK. Egg Drop soup was really yellow and didn’t look natural, so I didn’t even try it, especially given my queasiness about the overall cleanliness. Might have been OK. Also didn’t eat the Chow Mein, but the crispy noodles were NOT crispy — very soggy. Portions were very big, so that’s a good thing, and the people were very nice — I almost feel bad writing this review… almost. Overall, if you’re starving this could be a place to eat, but I won’t be back anytime soon. They really need to take some time to clean up the place and use fresh ingredients.

I liked the Mo Shoo veggie — it was tasty. Crab rangoon wasn’t bad. My brother had the pork lo mein and thought it was good too. Not amazing but good. I would go back.

Speed, price and accuracy of my delivery order today was impressive. Food was lack-luster but definitely better than most of my experiences with other chinese take-out places.

Good Chinese takeout. Combination General Tso’s is good and cheap. Everything is made fresh and it is family owned and operated.

The best chinese joint in norwalk. The food is always good and reasonably priced. The lunch specials are a great value and very filling. I usually get the special lo mein that contains chicken, pork, shrimp, beef, lobster and vegetables. It is some of the best lo mein i’ve ever had. The noodles tender and everything is cooked well and flavorful. You can also never go wrong with a side of their boneless ribs.

Since this was the only affordable Chinese place near my new apartment, I decided to give it a try. particularly since the only review it had was fairly glowing with positive things to say. Good: I ordered at the counter and got to watch them make my food fresh. This is clearly a family that’s been making food for a long time. They know their way around their kitchen Bad: I ordered a spring roll and an order of steamed pork dumplings. The spring roll didn’t have the crunchiness I’ve come to expect from something that’s been deep-fried, and it had shrimp in it. I was expecting a vegetarian experience with the spring roll and instead it ended up tasting like the sea. I know some people like shrimp, but the general expectation when you order a spring roll is that there’s no meat or seafood in there. Usually just vegetables. That in combination with it’s less-than-crunchy exterior ruined the whole thing for me. The dumplings were a nice size but had kind of a weird smell and were VERY doughy. I ate them because they were in front of me and I was hungry. But it wasn’t a particularly enjoyable experience. I’m going to have to keep looking for a good chinese place near my apartment, because Kim Feng isn’t it.

As good as it gets for delivery/takeout Chinese food. Super fast, hot, cheap, large portions, lots of sauces, and fresh tasting. It doesn’t have that dirty, greasy takeout taste you get from a lot of these type places. Easily the best choice in the Norwalk that I’ve tried.
