Klaff’s

I went to Klaff’s to purchase all my door and kitchen hardware. The customer service was great. I worked with Jared and all my questions were and answered, and I walked out feeling that I paid a fair price for the items I received. I also like that I didn’t have to pay the full amount up front since majority of the items were ordered from California. Definitely recommend checking them out and ask for Jared!

omg shane at customer service needs to take some courses in how to speak to the valued customer who is paying his salary.
ONTARIO is in Canada not California so you can phone to chase my order before 12pm.
and it doesnt take 3 days or it shouldnt to get me an answer.

I still can’t get over the poor service. I ordered a makeup mirror. 6 weeks later, I called for a status update and I was told it was received weeks ago (no call from them). I got it home and it was not the item I ordered. I couldn’t get a hold of the salesperson, except through email, who said that it was the right one (I can’t help it if she wrote down the wrong part number). I was CLEAR about what I wanted. She told me I could exchange it for a 25% restocking fee. I had been working with Bender’s in Bridgeport where I got great prices and great service– MY MISTAKE for not sticking with them. Try them out instead of Klaffs.

Ordered a husky over-​priced faucet.
Was told it would take 2 – 4 weeks and was not refundable as it was a special order.
5 weeks later they called to say it would be 6 months before they could get it in and did I want my money back?
Now I’m a week over deadline and back to square one without even an apology for the incredible rude and inconsiderate handling of my order.

Ordered some specialty tile from the UK and worked with Peter. Prices were the best I could find and I did some shopping around. The accommodated my written requests as these were non-​returnable but I wanted manufacturer guarantees that I would get what I ordered.
Only negative was I was required to pay in full which I do not find to be equitable. I used my AMEX which would have handled them if there was an issue.

Yes, Klaff’s has a beautiful showroom and offers the greatest variety of lighting and bathroom fixtures in the area. However, getting someone to actually help you in the showroom is always very challenging. I have finally given up and will purchase my fixtures online, where the salespeople are knowledgeable and and help immediately. In addition, I will save money and not have to deal with the rude people at Klaff’s Norwalk showroom, and the items will be sent directly to my home. Poor customer service will hurt retailers every time.

I remodeled an entire 1890’s Bedford farmhouse and wanted this to be the renovation of a lifetime… My dream house which I interior-​designed myself. I selected every item in the house– every plumbing fixture, every light fixture, switch, light bulb, every hinge, door knob, every faucet– you name it. It was A LOT of work taking over a year and a half and Klaff’s made it possible without me hiring a designer. Before I found Klaff’s I was having a real headache dealing with so many different retailers. It was difficult working with all different shops and trying to build relationships with each shop in order to ensure timely delivery of goods. I was driving all over the tri-​state area shopping for appliances– fixtures tiles etc until I found Klaff’s. It was like an immense relief that place exists! Shopping online was a total crap shoot. Stuff would come missing parts or arrived broken or in the wrong finish and it was a pain in the butt repacking and getting return labels to ship back to online retailers. Some never issued refunds despite getting product back. PLus I couldn’t seem to «connect with a human being» to describe what part i needed when i shopped online. I never even got the high $$ items I ordered from efaucets after waiting 19 weeks! it was nearly impossible to get a human being on the phone at
so i wound up cancelling all my orders on efaucets and getting everything at Klaff’s. I bought all my high end plumbing fixtures for my bathrooms and kitchens there. If there were any issues on the orders they rectified them right away! They got me missing parts and swapped things which didn’t work. That process was a JOY instead of a nightmare. The client services I received was absolutely top notch. Always a phone call — a text message back even on someone’s day off. And they used their truck delivery to get items to my home right when they were needed. Klaff’s has an outstanding collection of materials and their managers are in high demand because they know their product and care about their clients. It is a busy shop because they are the best at what they do so it is usefull to get an appointment set up to get undivided attention. They also have salespeople each with their own «style» so that you can work with the type of sales associate You LIKE to work with. All the managers care about their work. Klaff’s has a very busy business and ARE in high demand but trust me they are worth it. It would take a long time to list all the people I enjoy working with there who made my renovation experience a succes. Lou Anne, Ramon, Lonnie, Marcos, Jason, Mr Barber, and of course Joe and family. My house is gleaming and I couldn’t be happier. I would not have been able to pull off such a huge project without their help. Thank you Klaff’s!

this store is very distressing. On one side they have a great selection of merchandize but when you order good luck to have delivery as promise and worse customer service is totally unhelpful.
We would like to work with them but it seems they don’t care of your business after the order is placed

I just returned from the store in Norwalk CT. I need to redo my entire kitchen and second bathroom from the beams. You’d think that with this size job that they would actually be helpful, but all of the 3 sales persons that I asked for help were rude and offered little help. I wanted them to show me examples of what they had and what options were available, but they wanted me to go through their stuff myself as if I know where they keep all of the tiles, stone, etc. Don’t waste your time in this store!!!

Lights galore and more. This is an amazing resource for those looking to do some home redo work, so long as you’ve the pocket depth to support the habit.
