Had the walnut shrimp fried rice and egg flour soup as a lunch special and it was good! Service was nice and quick also, great experience!

I was too tired on this Friday night to dine in anywhere. Looked up chinese food delivery in my area. Found this restaurant. Had food delivered to my door in less than estimated time. Food was hot and delicious. Driver was very courteous. I’d order delivery again.

Food was good, price was good. Placing the order over the phone was easy and the lady was very helpful and patient with answering my questions. Delivery time was as stated and the driver was cordial.

Food sucks! Came here because of Unilocal but I’m sorry but food sucks… generic flavorless noodles, and rice I felt like walking out because I came here hungry and expected better… I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Not too impressed with the appetizers. Also, I had lunch delivered and they forgot a couple of items. The Kung Pao chicken was also underwhelming. On a positive note, the honey walnut shrimp was good and plentiful.

Same owners since we started going there about 18 years ago! The food is good, the service is great, and i appreciate the small businesses that make our community what it is. You’ll always have a loyal customer here!

The orange kitchen was a little too salty and the broccoli beef was not seasoned enough. So we mixed them together and it was ok. The price was about $ 13 per person since we got the gourmet dinner. It came with soup and such. The décor was outdated and the server who waited on us really seemed that we inconvenienced her by coming in and she wished the place had stayed empty. It has a B health rating and we usually skip those places but we didn’t want a chain like Panda Express, but maybe that was the better choice. The guy who took our payment was super nice and should have been the server!

Always have great service and smiles. The bowls and pan fried noodles are the best. Also the walnut shrimp is great it’s kind of sweet but they make it better than anywhere else, shrimp is not bombarded with the white sauce, it’s made just right. Great prices, not the fanciest place but had good food.

I love their beef and broccoli, I think because of sauce they make is very addictive! Not! too salty, not too sweet and of course beef is very tender so my kids can eat easy too. I think their beef and broccoli is best and much better than Panda express.

The food here is always excellent! However I was surprised on our last visit this Saturday they automatically 18% tip to our bill. It was 2 adults and 4 young children, and the bill wasn’t even legible if I hadn’t asked what the extra 7+ dollars was for I would have left additional tip unknowingly. But the food was delicious and service was good.

Two lunch specials include soup of the day, an egg roll and your choice of your main dish. Food is so flavorful. I order curry chicken as my main dish. Mmmm mmm so goood. Karen is so sweet. Serving her customers with a smile. Tended to our needs as fast as she could even though it was extremely packed in the restaurant.

Ordered the hot and sour soup/sweet and sour chicken. The soup was too watery and bland. Sweet and sour chicken was not very flavorful. Just another chinese food place. I think i rather have panda express. The asian guy in front is super nice tho. Awesome service. Food 2 stars Customer service 4 stars.

One of my lunch staples, this place has the eating options to fit how much time you have. When I am in a rush and need something quick and good, I just drop in for a quick bowl. They have Unilocal check in offers there all the time so just ask if it doesn’t pop up. Generally, it is Brian at the front desk who is always hustling and keeping the seating and take-out desk moving. I really want to sit in the actual restaurant and give some of their other food a try. Most of the time I am getting a bowl or a large serving of the Kung Pao chicken with light on the sauce. I find that kicking it up with some chili oil really brings out the flavor and increases the depth of the chicken as well. On more than one occasion i have ordered the food to go and dropped in, got my food and was on my way. I have also had the beef and shrimp and have never been disappointed. Love the service there and the great food.

3 stars for the food but 4 stars for service. Kung Pao Bowl has amazing staff, they are very attentive and accommodating, they aren’t the typical Chinese restaurants servers. I had the Mongolian beef and Kung Pao chicken and beef for lunch. Both dishes were very good. The salad that comes with lunch specials was decent and I have had better hot and sour soup. Fried rice was a bit tasteless and dry, but the main dishes saved the meal. I would definitely come back if I visit the area again

Came here coz Au89 just had to have me try shrimp something. Dammit. My memory is going. We took it to go. The guy who served Au89 was really nice. The order was ready when we got there. We were late for about 30 min after getting stuck in line at Porto’s for forever. He even gave us a free serving of white rice. What? We love white rice, so we were pretty happy with what we got. Shrimp whatever — a lot in one serving placed on top of some crunchy noodles. It was a bit too sweet for my taste but with the white rice, it was okay. Au89 liked it, if I recall correctly. The place looked really spacious even from outside. They must bet busy during lunch hour but at 5PM, it was pretty deserted. The drive is too far me; if not, I just might go back.
