Great selection of Pan Dulce and cakes. Ive been coming here for over 10 years now and they never seem to disappoint. The Pan Dulce is my favorite. Always nice, warm and affordable. Ive ordered cakes here for multiple occasions and they always do a great job. They take reservation ahead of time and allow you to select your choice of cake and theme from a book. Ordered items: 3 leches mocha cakes, 2 vanilla cup cakes I came in last Saturday and purchased a 3 leches mocha cake. The price was reasonable and the quality of the cake was very good. I called ahead of time and staff advised they had 2 mocha cakes available. So I came down and picked it up. The staff was very helpful and told me the cake would feed about 15 people. They also offered to reserve the other cakes in case I wanted more. For no extra cost they wrote happy birthday on the cake. Overall, great pan dulce and cake. Ive ordered cakes from here for graduations, birthday parties and even weddings. They are very reliable and always offer to go the extra mile to satisfy their customers. I really enjoy this little bakery but the only thing I disliked is the payment method. They dont accept credit card and only take cash, But its fine! I will keep coming back.

I went here after many times of hearing my father-in-love rave about it. I went to get sweet bread for el dia de la candelabria, today. It was a work event and my coworkers were very impressed. They kept asking where the bread was from. I will be going back to this place. The service was extra friendly too.

Their Pan Dulce is the best I have had to date. Let me preface by saying I am Mexican. I grew up in South Gate, so I have had my good share of pan dulce from SG, Downey, Norwalk, Bell, etc. This pan dulce is the softest and freshest I have ever had. It is also very flavorful. Other places have had good flavor but is dense and heavy or dry etc. Not here though. Again, theirs is the best all around, in my book. This is definitely my new panaderia.

Good tres leche and very good prices! Haven’t gotten to try the pan dulce yet but if the cakes are any indicator, I’m sure it’s delicious. Make sure you bring cash because they don’t take card and there’s no ATM close by.

The freshest and softest bread I’ve ever had! They have a great selection of bread, cookies, bolios(plain and jalapeño cheese). Very reasonably priced and always so friendly. I will not buy my bread from anywhere else.

I took my chances with ordering a graduation cake from La corona Bakery. I have been going here for years to buy their Pan dulce which is by far the best from Los Angeles to Orange County. After reading the positive Unilocal reviews I went in. Ordering was easy. The lady at the counter listened to what I wanted and write notes on my order. The day of pick up. The cake was ready and as beautiful as I could imagine. It was perfect. My guests loved the cake too. They all mentioned how moist the bread was and that the frosting was not too sweet. I ordered fresh strawberries as a filling. You will not be disappointed. While you’re there pick up some pan dulce too.

I’ve been trying to find a place like this around norwalk and finally found this place and their bread is delicious! I don’t have to drive to whittier anymore because this is 5 min down the street from where I live

Bread is the best in OC/LA area without a doubt but they need to improve there hours of operation. I come from OC and a couple times they closed earlier than what their window says. Today 1hr earlier and last couple time 10mins before closing time and would not let me in. Come on people your killing me lol. Other than that their bread is bomb!

Time after time we are asked where we bought this bread. On special occasions, I will pass a few Mexican establishments to buy La Corona’s breads — its a ten-mile trip, but its worth it! Panaderias should endeavor to equal this enterprise — it is exceptional. There is not a mediocre product here.

I have to agree with Jacqueline. I live in Rancho Cucamonga and whenever I visit my Grandma in Norwalk this is my first stop. Bread is so good and fresh and the variety of bread and cookies is great.

Love Love this bakery! First time coming here yesterday to pick up a cake for my sister’s bday. I had been calling around to several bakeries to find out prices and if they had a red velvet cake available… everywhere i called they kept telling me the same thing, «you needed to call 2 days before to place an order for red velvet» or they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for an 8 inch cake. I stumbled across this place by looking on Unilocal and let me tell you people here are so right about this bakery. I called spoke to a wonderful lady on the phone(great customer service) asked the same thing if they carried red velvet cakes and prices. She said«I have one red velvet cake left», & the price was amazing!!! So i asked if she could hold it for me, she did, picked it up and they even helped me to my car bcz i had both of my kids w me. The cake was a hit, my family liked it… most important my sister loved it. Thank you Corona Bakery!!! Definitely will be coming back for other parties. FYI: their sweet bread smelled and looked amazing.

I hired La Corona Bakery to make my wedding cake, and it came out Amazing! The staff is so friendly and everyone at the party loved the taste of the cake, just delicious! Not to mention the prices from here are so reasonable, i got a 4 tier cake plus sheet cake for less than $ 400.00. I was very pleased with everything, thank you!

My sister got her wedding cake here in September 2012 and honestly the quality was fantastic and the price was amazing. I shocked to find out that she paid around $ 130 for a 3 tiered wedding cake that was simple, elegant and delicious, especially considering how weddings cake will run you between $ 400 to over $ 1000. I ended up ordering my nieces birthday cake here for the same reasons and am now looking forward to ordering my own wedding cake. They do only take cash but I didn’t mind it at all. If you are looking for something special and a great price, definitely check them out.

The best traditional pan dulce/Mexican bread ever made! They also make cookies, bolillos and more. I’ve had cakes made from here as well and the best hit is the carrot bread. Decorative cake designs are very creative and can duplicate anything I have brought in. Family owned bakery & very personable, sweet and welcoming. This is a must try if you’re ever in the area.

Establishment is always clean. I have walked into other local bakeries and delis that have cockroaches flies and other insects in with the food and pastries! Yuck! Decent pricing on cakes & pastries. Also available day-old bread & pastries«Yummy» Wide variety to choose from you are guaranteed to find something you like. Food is never burned undercooked or to doughy. Baked to perfection! Also available sugar free and gluten-free items. If you are having a fiesta please order a day ahead of time. I definitely recommend
