Worst service ever. WAYYYY too expensive for extremely poor service and quality. They don’t care about their customers, they don’t care about keeping people waiting just awful awful awful. 4.99 for gulab jhamun gimme a break

I’ve been to another Paradise Biryani Pointe in NY and am happy to say that this place was on par with it. The restaurant was actually pretty packed BUT surprisingly quiet. Maybe it’s the neighborhood that it’s in? I felt like my wife and I were the loudest people there. We ordered the following: 1)Gobi Manchurian(battered cauliflower fried up till it’s crispy and tossed in a spicy sauce) 2)Goat Biryani 3)Butter Chicken 4)garlic naan All the food was absolutely fantastic! They accidentally gave us chicken manchurian instead of the gobi, but they fixed that pretty quickly. The biryani was pretty good but it was quite obvious that they put the actual goat biryani on the bottom and then topped it off with yellow rice. You can’t go wrong with the butter chicken and the garlic naan either. Overall, the restaurant is great for what it is. I will absolutely come back.

Hidden gem. This restaurant kind of blends in with other stores in a little plaza along rt. 1. I’ve bookmarked this place for quite sometime now. Finally get to visit for lunch on the weekend. Interior was casual and clean. Service was friendly. Food was delicious. We ordered Samosas, Dum-ka-Murg, and garlic naan. I’ve never had Dum-ka-Murg before. Wanted to try something new and I wasn’t disappoint. I asked for spicy, but it was kind of medium heat. Chicken was so tender and sauce was flavorful. Recommend it. I’ll return and try other dishes.

You just can’t go wrong with their biriyani. Flavorful, just the right amount of spice, mouthwatering and filling. You don’t need anything else!

Giving a one star since its mandatory. We arrived @ 2.05pm on a Wednesday and as per their website it closes at 3pm. Mr. Raju who doesnt seem to have enough qualification, as he lacks basic courtesy of greeting customers told us their shop closes at 2pm. He mumbled something which i didnt understand. I explained that i drove from danbury for 45mins to reach there and they should update the website with correct timings. I asked him to provide the contact info of the owner Narendra but raju said he cant share info and instead write negative reviews if needed. He said he will not even take togo order either. I request the owner to please rectify the inconsistency in timings and also train the staff. I would love to give in person review if needed.

Amazing food. The biryani is a must try here. The chicken curries are pretty good too. If you are a vegetarian do try the paneer biryani and mirchi ka saalan. The service times can be a little slow but the food is worth it.

Let me start off by stating I am not of Indian descent, but most of the patrons are. That means they know where the best traditional genuine Indian food is!!! I met people 50 miles away that knew about this place! The lamb SAAG whoa… Really great food. Eat in or take out. Great staff as well! As far as the comments about servers attitudes… well Ive traveled throughout and learned a long time ago that«attitudes» are simply cultural differences. Is the staff(males) all bubbly and silly… not at all but I would definitely not label them as rude. Actually very polite wih limited conversation. Im fine with that, I dont go with the intent to make a new friend.

Not the best customer service, but the food is alright. Pretty pricey though, there’s no lunch menu as far as I know. Seeing as there’s not too many options for Indian food in the area it’s decent, but I’d rather spend the extra 10 minutes going somewhere else.

It’s fly house than restaurant, if you wanna live love and eat with flies when you eat, you are welcome to visit this place. Food is good but highly cost and less maintenance with flies around you when you eat, not good to stay here.

It would be unfair for me to give this place a 5 Star, despite their chicken tikka masala being the best I have ever had, in any restaurant. There is something about the use of peppers and onions, and the subtle creaminess that translates into a mouthful that is poised to excite. It was a game-changer, and caused me to try to emulate the flavor, with no success. The reason it is a 4 and not a 5, is because I have never had anything else here, and I think that rating them on just their chicken tikka masala is unfair. Usually I go to a restaurant and try my friend’s food, to get a sense of the overall quality, but my friends always got the same as me, due to a ‘follow the leader’ mentality. The ambiance is nice in the restaurant, parking is ample. The service was excellent, and everything was always clean. I might add the lack of a buffet contributes to my rating, but still nothing to get all antsy about. Try this restaurant if you are an Indian cuisine fan. A client brought me my first time, and ate Biryani; he considers this the best he has had(he is originally from India). Enjoy!

Food was very good. Went in for take out, all indian people eating(they know what’s good) only giving 4 stars because food was pricey and no lunch specials. I work in the area and would go more if they had lunch specials. Chicken box, lamb box… come on guys, get with it.

I haven’t tried much on the menu but I love the gobi manchurian and the egg/veggie biryani. I particularly LOVE onions and spice and they load up the dishes with green, white and red onions. If you’re not accustomed to the spice levels of traditional Indian food, go with«medium» when they ask, and they DO ask for every dish you order. I’m excited to try out more!

Was here before mutton biryani was fine. Today goat tasted like lamb. Rice was soggy. The raita watery and the gravy was just bad. Not coming back

So, we came in to this restaurant being hungry. This place has white table cloths, but no host/hostess to greet us. Nor did the cashier greet us and state that he would be right with us as he was taking payment from a few people ahead of us. When I finally got to speak with him and review the menu, it turns out they offer NOLUNCHSPECIAL. So, its 1:30PM on a weekday in Norwalk & you expect me to spend $ 20 on one meal before accounting for the price of a drink, no thanks ! (fwiw, I‘m disappointed they do not, would have like to try their food)

I give 4 stars just for the food… The ambience is very normal notthing fancy about it, but the food will make u ignore that. I have eaten here multiple times and I must say, they are consistent in delivering the good tasty food. I am a die hard fan of Goat Sukka here, a goat appetizer. The other items on the list are pretty good. I have had chicken briyani, that too was very good. The quantity is serving is quite a lot for one to finish. Everything was fresh and the staff was also courteous. I would definetely recommend to try this if you like Indian food.
