Salon Moda

I made an appointment and was quoted a certain amount for the services I wanted (haircut and partial highlights) on the phone. My stylist was very nice and excited when I showed her pictures of what I wanted — she dove right into doing an ombré color, never mentioning that this was considered a different service than partial highlights. She also put a glaze on my hair without asking or mentioning it was an up-​sell. I was there for 3 very long hours, and during that time I overheard conversations between stylists that were blatantly racist, bashing people on welfare, and complaining about how slow the salon had been. It was uncomfortable. When I was finished and went to pay, I was charged a price that was $ 70 more than what had been quoted on the phone. If what I want differs so much from the services I made an appointment for, I should have been told up-​front. I said as much, and the salon did ultimately honor a price closer to the price I had been quoted, but I left feeling a bit scammed. It was not a relaxing visit, and I will not be back.

I have never had such a wonderful experience going to a hair salon. Salon Moda is a place where know that you can trust your stylist. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel so comfortable and welcome. They offer drinks and really take care of you. I have never done anything to my hair besides cut it and decided to get my first highlights done. I showed my stylist Mickey pictures of what I wanted and I couldn’t have asked for more perfect results. He spent time and really cared about what he was doing with my hair. Everything he did was so genuine and I am so happy Mickey was the stylist who gave me my first highlights. I love everything about Salon Moda and I will definitely keep going back!

My stylist Mickey is absolutely fantastic. I will follow him to the ends of the earth. I am always getting compliments about my hair, and I owe it all to him.
The salon itself is lovely. Peaceful, pretty, relaxed. A place I want to be.

I am IMPRESSED! Salon Moda is a GEM of a hair salon right in my neighborhood. Ornella styled my hair and I have never received this many compliments: EVER! I am going back this week to get a color treatment and I cannot wait. This is a great salon with a friendly and talented staff.

I recently moved into the area, and decided to change salons. Ornella, Stacy and all of the staff are not only professional, but very talented. Great atmosphere, products and have never gotten a bad cut or color! Highly recommend it!
